Now they're talking about inner monologue, which from what I heard the study was kind of bullshit and I think it was
@Aydin Paladin of all people who made the video taking a deeper look into that study.
The apple thing inside your head, also sounds like bunk to me, I think it's more that when people close their eyes and focus forward they see nothing or a blur, but they can see the apple in their head, it's just the process of focusing forward makes them think they're not as they're seeing the inside of their eyelids basically. You can basically stare at a wall and imagine an image painted on it, and see both the wall and the mental image of the wall with the painting, but you don't question that those are two different things in your head, when you close your eyes and try to imagine something you focus on the darkness and probably push the image of the apple outside of your mind despite it still being there and you can still imagine it, you just don't see it as you think you would. So what I'm saying, I think it's not that people see nothing, it's that they interpret the task incorrectly and that's what screws them up.
None of this is to say people aren't retarded, they are, it's just I think a lot of this research is a bit bullshit.
I skipped him and watched Pippa, but I hear a lot of people were streaming tonight. I did catch a few moments of Tim here and there though just out of curiosity.
