Having a quick read off the article, you're right. I'm relying too much on Keffals statements of 'what he is', rather than doing any research on the topic.No, HSTS has a long history in the trans community, mostly as a term they like to seeth against.
I'm sure wikipedia doesn't use HSTS in Keffals' sense because they're actually seething against Blanchard. I haven't read that wikipedia article, but I'm sure it's constant bitching about how it's homophobic and transphobic and outdated and how Blanchard (despite being very sympathetic to troons) is a hateful bigot.
It comes from Blanchard's topology of classifying troons into either female attracted (AGP, weirdos who are attracted to women, but also like to beat off to the concept of themselves as women too) or HSTS (male troons attracted to men, so they try to become hyperfem to attract straight men).
Strange how Wikipedia will puff-piece and glim glam his Wikipedia Page but adhere to the Blanchard model and diagnostics. It's almost like it's political
