You're right, Fong-Jones is outwardly boring, but then so was Jeffrey Dahmer. Evil, as Hannah Arendt pointed out, is notoriously banal. When Fong-Jones was first identified as the primary driver behind the campaign against KF, I assumed he was so fanatically committed to this fucked-up cause because of his tangential involvement with the Trans Lifeline scam years ago, all of which has been documented and archived on the Farms. Higher executive positions in the corporate world require a near-impeccable background. Being involved with a corrupt non-profit, even on the periphery, is a bad look and a bad look is career suicide--or at least a career dead-end, which is a solid motive for wanting us shut down, or so I thought.

But that Trans Lifeline thing isn't it at all, is it Elliot? There's more. There's worse. The thing about criminal impulses, whether rape or child molesting or domestic violence, is where there's one incident we know about, the one the rapist or pedophile or wife beater gets caught or arrested for, there are a dozen or more incidents we don't. Such criminals are creatures of habit, slaves to pattern, which means this skeevy freakshow deviant almost certainly has more victims out there, little time bombs ticking away and ready to go off.

The more I think about it, the more creeped-out I get.

As far as appearances go, "Same but operated by TRAs/SJWs" is basically their whole business model, which is something that might work for coffee houses, EDM events, bars, social media, etc. but it seems like it would be  really difficult to get off the ground in software/tech. Surely they can't have infiltrated the whole industry so completely. On the way to top of most corporate ladders and the bottom of most mountains of accounting paperwork, I'm sure there must be someone that will sit back and think, "Wait, why are we hemorrhaging this much money to support this shit?"

It doesn't work, you need to have a compelling product first which they don't. They're also competing in a very crowded market against the likes of Datadog and Grafana Labs (to name but a few). These companies also employ software engineers - if you take a look on Honeycomb's About page there are very few of those.

I'm frankly astounded that they've lasted this long, but let's see how well they do through the current turmoil.
