I am not an expert in the subject matter but I think it is wise for him to try to refrain from contacting the person.
In my limited understanding it is usually very common for the person on the receiving end of a "consent accident" to never ever want to have to meet or interact with the "consent accident" giver again.
Not an expert, just my layman understanding of the dynamics between receiver and giver when it comes to "consent accidents" post incident.

Edit - Google employees used an anonymous app called Blind (no pun intended) and it seems that quite a few were celebrating his decision. Elliot found out while still working
