I am blocking Germany and Austria

The virgin Germany bullies and tracks its own citizens for visiting a legal website.

The Chad Netherlands makes an onion site for their police force to kindly remind you that using TOR is totally fine as long as you're not doing anything illegal.

Don't be a kraut, be a clog.

You know not get overly Dramatic here.

I really hope this puts to bed anyone with the idea that you don't care about your userbase.

You go out of your way with clear documentation about what having an account here can entail, encourage people to use tools to increase their privacy and security, make detailed notifications of breaches and their causes, and point people out for being a dumb ass when they lose their accounts. ( myself included )
It would not have even occurred to me that you losing CF would essentially de-obfuscate the target site and lead to much easier tracking by unscrupulous governments.

Fucking masterclass Null
Thanks for being Based.

Imagine living in a country where you have to access certain websites through a VPN or otherwise risk being arrested.

You mean like they do in this country?

I've talked about the hate speech laws inside the EU quite a few times here. The TL;DR is that it is all sourced in the WW2 and the Holocaust
Europe's speech laws banning public insults actually long predate WW2 and Holocaust denial. You haven't dug into this deep enough if you think that's where the buck stops. It actually goes all the way back to the medieval concept of Moral Rights and Lèse-majesté. When the State in modern times is no longer defined as royalty but as "the people", you can no longer insult any aspect of "the people". Needless to say, this medieval bullshit has no place in a modern society. Furthermore, there is literally no scientific evidence which conclusively proves that speech laws somehow prevent or reduce hate crime, terrorism or whatever else they're supposed to prevent from happening. The notion that repressing speech will have some kind of de-escalatory effect on violence itself is a myth. Silencing just makes angry people more resentful and repressed and likely to lash out when it's least expected. This kind of self-censorship on the part of the general public also makes it harder to track actual criminals planning to commit violence, because they'll take their planning offline. Many actual violent groups all over Europe began organizing offline when they realized they were being tracked online. All these speech laws tend to do is to criminalize regular citizens who are mostly completely ignorant of these speech laws and were mostly just being hyperbolic.

However, it's impossible to challenge these engrained notions on a scientific basis. You're not allowed to demand evidence for the claim that silencing people leads to reduced violence rather than resentment, feelings of victimization and unexpected outbursts of violence. There is no evidence that silencing does what it sets out to do, but no one is allowed to take it there.

Germany might be sending a rapper called 'Mr Bond' to prison for ten years for making offensive parody rap songs. Some of his lyrics glowed somewhat, but it's insane to think you can go to prison for 10 years just for saying things.

This is a good strategic move. Beat them to the punch.

Null should make a series of simple text sites with arguments for trans rights hosted on his network. The arguments should be crowd sourced here on the Farms. Our goal should be to make it the best resource on the web for people arguing in favor of trans rights. Thanks to the magic of HTTPS this traffic will be indistinguishable from Kiwi traffic und unsere deutsche Brüder werden frei

Damn it I always imagined the UK or Sweden would be the first to start persecuting people that way but with how fucking gay the west is becoming it's no surprise it starts in the heart of the EU of all places. Wouldn't be surprised if more countries follow soon.

The drugged up dwarf seems like he can barely wipe his own ass these days.
Also didn't that one russian dos mitigation service give the farms the boot?
Didn't they also block the farms because of the ho ho holocaust meme?
Almost as if vatniks aren't that big on free speech and principles, they just don't like faggots.

I cannot agree in full with this.
The previous laws were often anti-blasphemy laws and protecting the ruling class/monarchy etc.
These laws are entirely different in purpose and scope, and are created to protect minorities, often foreign peoples that do not belong in Europe, or deviant sexual minorities.
The Holocaust is indeed the moment that has amplified all this new set of restrictions, as it was woven in the European psyche as some sort of special event that warrants extraordinary measures that are otherwise uncommon. It's the foundational myth of modern Europe, Nazis bad, liberalism good, minorities protecc, nationalism very sus, ethnonationalism double so.

Remember Jan Bohmenmann's prosecution over his satirical poem about Erdogan?

In October 2016, prosecutors dropped the case, saying they had not found sufficient evidence to continue the inquiry against Boehmermann. In 2018, the rarely used paragraph 103 of Germany's penal code, which criminalized insults against foreign heads of state, under which Böhmermann was indicted, was subsequently abolished.

But like I said, when the State is no longer a specific head of State that you can insult individually (like royalty or a politician) but is now vaguely defined as "the people', you can no longer insult any aspect of "the people". So you're appearing to abolish a repressive speech law, but also re-introducing it in a new form, more nebulous than it was before. Taking a medieval bad law (Lèse-majesté) and democratizing it to now encompass everyone's easily offended fee-fees - everyone is The Queen now! - is really not the progressive move they think it is.

You will end up doing this for the whole EU and UK, this is just a taster of things to come.
Seems as if the lights are always going out in Europe, but then, they're going out here in the US, too: FBI raids on peaceful abortion demonstrators, J6 political prisoners rotting for years in gulag-equivalent conditions for misdemeanor crimes such as parading and disturbing the peace, harassment of opposition leaders....the Great Reset is ongoing and globally encompassing and God help you if you stand in its way.

At some point we're going to have to fight these fuckers--at the point, I suppose, when thousands of armed and armored lackeys of the State start doing coordinated nationwide sweeps and breaking down doors. The least we can do then is make them work for it.

His potential sentencing is retarded levels of disproportionate, but I'd still have advised him, as somebody who lives in Germany, and who might want to participate in wider society one day, it's probably not a good idea to literally sing the praises of spree killers. He parodied 'I need a hero' as a tribute to the Christchurch shooter. Imagine them playing that shit in court.

He kicked the hornets nest so hard this was almost inevitable.
