He should know that there is a reason why he would have a harder time to get ball removal surgery than someone who needs to have them removed due to physical pain; it is much easier to diagnose physical pain than mental illness because it can be tested. The NHS rarely pays for cosmetic surgery, so you can't just ask them to chop parts of your body off on a whim. It's hard to confirm gender dysphoria, especially since he pointed out that people like him lie all the time to get any kind of trans healthcare.

He claims that a man wanting more body hair is exactly like gender dysphoria because you are having distress about your body not matching up to your perceived self. He is either profoundly ignorant or actively malicious with that understanding of gender dysphoria.

I have never experienced gender dysphoria but I can believe that there would be an immense amount of stress in having to wake up every day, look at myself in the mirror and know that the person in the mirror is not how I should look like. And that as much as human science can modify a person, we can never, as Oliver claims "change a person's sex". We can treat gender dysphoria through a number of methods including sexual reassignment surgery, but we can never cure it. So people diagnosed with gender dysphoria will have to live with that condition and so those who suffer with it need as much help as they can get.

Oliver and the rest of his AGP ilk are using these vulnerable people as a shield for their fetish. Fuck him. If he really wants his balls chopped off, he should just go at them with the largest knife he has. If he is really facing life or death, then that should be an acceptable alternative, no?

Wasn't dysphoria ≠ dysmorphia an unquestioned pro-trans talking point ~2 years ago? It was considered ignorant and wrong to conflate them because obviously dysmorphia is when you see a wild distortion of your body rather than its reality, and dysphoria is when you see the reality of your body but feel painfully at odds with it. I don't think the distinction is as sharp as all that — there are plenty of body dysmorphic anorexics who see their bodies crystal clear, and still want to be skinnier for shock and awe — but it's funny that Olly feels so free to trash a useful rationalization. Of course he would, though, because the point of the dysphoria-dysmorphia distinction is to separate gender dysphorics from the general opinion that obsessively chasing an unhealthy, impossible body image is bad and best treated through psychiatry. As a non-gender dysphoria haver, Olly doesn't benefit from that argument, so he'll throw it in the fire just to spite the people who do. Medically assisted body modification for all! Starvation is an exercise of bodily autonomy actually & physicians must support it by prescribing semaglutide to anyone who wants it regardless of BMI.

You can't give informed consent but they can still take your limb. But if you're awake, and alert, you can refuse. I agree with you Chube! Very good points! Trans "life affirming care"=cosmetic treatments that should not be publicly paid for. Such bullshit that "cis people get it". Hair loss treatments are NOT covered, Rogaine is OTC in my country, the US but idk about GB.
I'm starting to think troons have a bigger fixation on hair loss than the average person and it feeds into their psychopathology. Think of people like Contra who admitted he did it bc he didn't want to get any balder.
Finacea can be formulated for topical use in hair loss but was developed as a treatment for prostate problems, if I remember correctly.
Estrogen has lots of benefits for bio women and lack of it is why we fall apart from menopause. There's lots of physical health problems it could be treating, like osteoporosis or trying to prevent dementia in at-risk women. Most women still don't bother with HRT despite lots of benefits bc it's a cancer risk.
