I honestly think that this and the discussion about banning "4chan" words are cases of fishman and his fellow higher ups trying to swing their dick around and show the talents who is truly in control, but they are all such pussies that the instant the fans give any pushback they back down and let them do what they want again.

During one of the recent website foreclosures due to bot attacks, /pcg/ had a week plus long discussion over the censorship of the word "brap" (amongst others) and it was seemingly being advocated and encouraged via a Lumi mod to fishman, which as you can imagine only enhanced the rrat ratio. Of course, that Jannie is also trans, which is a healthy reminder to not let openly mentally ill people into positions of power.

Which went as far as a "full life-doxx" for Gura
VT and VT memes account heard about the Patreon stuff.

He also deleted his Patreon and an unlisted video someone from Reddit Dmed me when I asked for proof.
I wish he didn't, because that was actually a good video, I think my Reddit comment where I mentioned BrownBeeTV was probs right, people having different standards and imo dumb ones. Because he doesn't even say her name and the worst thing he says is her Bf's old username, which is basically nothing. I think people heard what he was doing and called it doxxing, then other people heard the term and because their standards are stricter assumed the worst, and it snowballed from there. Overall I don't see the issues if this is the level the Gura video is.
I do wonder what, if anything, he'll say. I still think deleting the Patreon looks suspicious without giving an explanation. And I also think there isn't really an explanation that'd satisfy people.
Someone said to me that the blurs on the posts are the girls' faces. Which makes me wonder if he's also done that with Ina. Ina for me is too far, everyone else's faces have been posted by themselves or, in Gura's case, are so widespread not showing it would be pointless because everyone already knows it.
Ina however was found through her sister and is one of the lesser known faces.
For now I don't think he did anything wrong.

A bit random but I also wanted to say that I think the fancords banning past-life talk is dumb (since we're on the subject, also I'm not talking about any official places). The fact you can get banned for saying Gura is Senzawa is imo, dumb. The reasons given are not wanting to send people down the "PL rabbit hole" and not wanting to break people's immersion. But 1. you're giving yourself too much credit, people would've fallen down the hole regardless and 2. Just make a separate channel for PL talk. Plus I think people not wanting to hear about how these girls have pasts is really weird and it's ironic to coddle them while crying about how antis don't treat the streamers like real people because when it comes to the past, a lot of fans don't either. They want to live in a bubble where these girls just magically became successful and didn't have a long-history online. And that's just not realistic.
I get having limits. But I can't sit here and say that banning people for acknowledging that the past exists is reasonable, especially given my online history. And I'm not just talking about here or KF either
