Sorry to be late and gay again, but I had the same experience. Innocuous normie friend who votes blue sent a link to the Destiny article in a group chat consisting of former housemates from our college years, basically saying "man these people he is describing are fucking crazy," talking about Keffals and the cabal of course. We are in a heavily liberal area and most of us attended a heavily liberal university.
Perhaps more telling is the fact that my SUPER-liberal, social media virtue signaling, but otherwise very nice and pleasant friends have seemingly refused to touch this whole debacle with even a 39-and-a-half foot pole. They openly wax poetic on every other political issue on Facebook, but every one of them is either a) completely ignorant of any of this drama, which as I said in an earlier post makes it essentially a nothingburger or b) representative of the fact that even the "orange man bad," "believe all women," BLM, Ukraine flag on their profile photo, pro-trans, "blue no matter what" people recognize Keffals and this whole drama for what it is: the jihadist ravings of lunatics that are actually terrible for the optics of "their side" of the political isle, and that is why they avoid signal boosting this issue. LFJ, Keffals, and the whole catboy ranch crew are likely seen as a cancer by what they believe is their own constituency, and the only support they have is the radicalized and militant minority that you see sperging on Twitter.
Regular folks like my high school math teacher friend, my lawyer friend, my political consultant friend, my big tech programmer friend, and all of their spouses here in Democratville are completely quiet on this subject. Only my digital nomad "travel the world and get high on weed" friend who is mostly liberal but openly claims his pronouns as "this nigga/that nigga" on Twitter even brought it up, and it was to laugh at Keffals and co.
The only reason I am writing so much about this is because I have never seen a clearer sign of the pendulum swinging against these people, which is heartening to see. Radical ideologies such as these in any social spectrum are abhorrent as fuck and more people are either waking up to this reality or are willing to ignore the radicals completely.
