Thats what it is now, but in the 1980s/1990s you actually needed a neurologist and real ass testing to be diagnosed with it. You also were diagnosed as neurologically impaired because they were testing for actually neurological changes. Now ADHD is listed as a behavioral issue.
Spot on. Severe deficits to attentions are real and have concretely identifiable neural bases. However, clinicians no longer concern themselves with empirical, neuroscientific evidence. If you take a look at the criteria a child has to meet to be diagnosed with "ADHD," you'll find that they apply to just about every kid you've ever encountered: Difficulty sitting still, fidgeting, lacking motivation to complete uninteresting tasks that involve substantial cognitive effort, running around a lot, etc.
Of course, a solid 99% of these children aren't "disordered;" they behave exactly as you would expect them to behave. Rather, the medical industrial complex benefits heavily from pathologizing behaviors to the extent that just about anything can be diagnosed. Disorders are quite literally being manufactured out of thin air (see "oppositional defiant disorder") with no actual basis for labeling a behavior as abnormal. Kids get drugged up (with amphetamines, no less) and the doctors and pharma corps line their pockets. No wonder zoomers are so fucking retarded, half of them have been taking speed since they were in diapers.
To avoid derailing further, there are obvious parallels to be drawn with the troon situation. Unusual behavior gets pathologized. For kids, it usually isn't actually unusual; look up the criteria for diagnosing "gender dysphoria" in minors if you want to be truly horrified. What's the solution? Shell out 5+ figures to go on HRT for a decade and get your dick chopped off. Given how narcissistic and attention seeking troons are, the ease with which they can obtain a diagnosis creates a feedback loop: Come see us, give us money, take the drugs, take the surgeries, and you get another special victimhood qualification to add to your laundry list of "mental disorders." These people absolutely love to be disabled and disordered without facing any of the consequences experienced by people who are truly ill. They just love the attention and fawning they receive from other psychos and brainwashed idiots, and the system is set up to facilitate their victimhood complex.
To be clear, none of this is meant to speak again the idea that troons are completely insane, as they certainly are. However, there is a system in place that enables and actively encourages this behavior. Being diagnosed with nonsensical behavioral problems in childhood (and being drugged up through development as a result) is probably a stepping stone for a lot of troons.
