I don't think we're gonna get WW3 because some idiot conscript poorly maintained his rocket system from 1974 before his drunken NCO told him to fire it off at some coordinates that the brigade fire control officer fat-fingered

And the funny thing is, that IF this was an S-300 and IF this specific weapon was built in the Soviet era, then there's an excellent chance the engine was built in Ukraine, rendering another apologetic moot.

I honestly don’t get all the “ITS HAPPABANIN!!!1”, “Get your gas masks and programmer socks!” And “ARTICLE 5” talk.

In 2014 pro Russian Ukrainian forces shot down an airliner with 298 people on it, most of them EU civs with a large Dutch passenger count. That was undeniable evidence that it was done with Russian technology given to the Ukrainians, we had the pro Russian Ukrainians who shot down the plane on radio saying “blyat we showdown a commercial jet” and NOTHING HAPPENED.

Unfortunately I very much doubt that two Polish people will all of a sudden Bring on WW3

Yeah, and for us to go after Russia for the exact same shit that we did to Syria, half the Balkan states, Pakistan, Turkey and Iran over the last 25 years (and some that I may or may not have been party to because the unnamed NATO ally assholes on the radio net gave wonky grid squares because they have a gay accent that is hard to understand over radio static) would be some horse shit.

To quote my old squadron weapons systems SME

"There's a reason they call them MISS-iles and not HIT-iles, boys"

Trump literally warned them about this years ago, but they laughed it off because he was just the heckin orange man so now they pay the price.
And can't forget this little gem:

In between all of this mess we didn't even get to discuss the Russians stealing the racoon from the Kherson zoo during the retreat or the Russian purchase of Iranian body armor and helmets.
That raccoon is happy to be liberated, he's not going to get eaten like the rest of the animals there this winter.

Like Schroeder, who later joined the board of Gazprom? Or like the Greens, who were sponsored by Stasi in the 80s?
There must be something wrong with that самогон you're drinking.
Soviet Union hasn't existed in over 30 years, bruh. You seriously blaming Russia for the fact that almost all western governments are infested with eco-activist idiots?

Nothing happened because they flew into a active warzone where multiple Ukrainian Air Force planes were shot down within mere hours before MH-17.

Also it made Russia back out of invading in 2014 as they were prepping for it but MH17 destroyed their moral high ground.

Not all, but Germany and their energy policy specifically. It was completely clear from the start that Schroeder is advancing Russian interests against all the rest of the EU. The likes of Schwesig setting up a money laundering operation to circumvent US sanctions on NS2, Matthias Warnig being a former Stasi agent... Come on, we see through this crap.

That's nothing, they also forced the troons and dangerhairs on the USA. It's all Russia's fault. The proof is in a video from the late 80/90s of a Soviet defector milking boomer neocons for as much as he could. They love to post it as a kind of gotcha.

Russia derangement syndrome is real.

There is an older post of mine weeks earlier about how an actual capable power will simply eradicate your defenses from the air and with massive rocket launches before risking their lives of their infantry.
Scary and impressive from a military perspective, but from an ideological/conviction perspective, I cannot support any of it, although I understand it doesn't matter. Every nation is responsible for who they allowed to be ruled by. If the people are sheep that tolerate autocrats, so be it, get pillaged and oppressed, intervention makes things worse long term and legitimizes other idiots (like Putin) that think they should be allowed to do the same. And these wars were based on so many lies too.
You see, this is what it means to not have nukes. You cannot do Bosnian genocides, cannot take Kuwait, cannot do anything of relevance without America noticing and intervening.
Unsure this is ideal, but what other choices are there, at least for now.

We're blaming Russia for amplifying the most extreme beliefs in Westoid populations, but we do agree that the West should do much, much better at dealing with those beliefs in a mature manner and channel these kids towards more useful stuff.
