He definitely is exploitive he started his career in youtube by taping all the children he was a teacher of. He states he had permission, but the ethics are questionable since hes earning income off their children. Over the years he has deleted videos the Hootigans being one. I need some new disorders to look up so I'll take a look through his videos to see if anything pops out.

So don't think SBSK really has enough for a thread, but here's a little write up on what I was able to dig up.
It appears he removes videos if there is any question to them destroying his super polish way to fake image.
At one point he did a 45 minute patronizing video with his "life partner" (he does not allow it to be called marriage) treating her the same way he does the other interviewees. She comes off as extremely uncomfortable during it It was done during the height of lockdown and some theorized it was a bid to get youtube money when he could not get as many interviews done.
It was discussed at one point how his wife has many diagnoses and if that was why they were together. It seems she had to leave her dream job because HE needed help with SBSK.
Watching his videos he makes it clear he was against any of the empirically known ways of teaching disabled children and just did what he wished. He acts the same way in the class as he does in videos pratfalling, etc. His big things is "debates" and other things, but he never shows any learning in his numerous videos. He talks about teaching them to spell words that have no baring in life, but then shows that they are on the board anyway to be copied. He does more playing than educating in a classroom with educable kids whereas I've seen more growth in the ineducable kids i worked with learning then he is showing with these children. He also does not believe in having any rules in the classroom. He also was constantly seeking donations for "classroom activities."
It's also odd the students never change and though he talks about other sped teachers having aides and such he does not. Curious if hes a resource room and not a teacher which is one way they used to deal with behavioral kids. He also doesn't correct things a child had a hyperfixation with a person and he did not teach him appropriate ways and he would go demand her where he thought she worked. This same student later become hyperfixated about loving and wanting to marry another student in the class. Once again this behavior instead of being taught what was appropriate was used as a way to get views on youtube/facebook. He also got a students IEP to state that it was fine for him to stim (his stim included loudly jumping) in his mainstream classes. Prior to this he would not stim at all. The problem with encouraging these behaviors is that it can effect ability to appropriately socialize later or keep even a basic job.
The entire beginning of his monetized career was posting multiple videos per day of the children in his classroom and gaining income off them. Most schools specifically have rules against video taping or photographing children and it can be a fireable offense to do this. He also used every video to advertise which children would be in "his book." The book never came to be because it was dropped once he was gaining money off even more children and adults outside the classroom.
He was pushing this really hard and once his youtube career went off he dropped it. He had promised the parents 50% of the proceeds. It feels in a way like he used these parent's kids to launch his youtube career and then immediately dropped them out of his mind.
He completely dropped working with these kids when his youtube career took off so they were merely a means to an ends for him.
There were a few deleted videos that appear to be because he did not do due diligence in making sure the people were being honest.
There was a video about a child needing a heart transplant. It later came out that in PRIVATE PHONE MESSAGES the mother said the n-word, so bam video deleted. The reason she was upset was her daughters required medications were not able to be gotten because of the rioting at the time due to Floyd.
Another interview involved him fundraising over $60,000 for someone who was clearly not in the state he said. A man with schizoaffective disorder was using his platform to cause issues for the mental health system in his area stating that they raped him in the middle of a lunch room while orderlies watched. SBSK used this to gofundme the dude who then disappeared with the money not long after. He also mis explains the disorder schizoaffective disorder is schizophrenia and bipolar mixed together NOT Borderline Personality Disorder.
One of the deleted videos is an early one with a teenager with autism that when every he was patronized he would scream SHUT UP at him. SBSK spun this to be the child's behavior at fault not his.
He has a very high rate of asking people about their relationship life. Finding many summaries are "hunting for a boy/girlfriend." Considering the majority of his videos are shown to involve children under 12 this was interesting find.
Anyone who talks negatively gets immediately jumped on by the fanbase and Chris himself. This is an example of how people with disabilities think of his videos.
And there was the instance where him and his wife made a video crying that they were being mean by demonetizing content and turning off comments in content featuring children. It was a very eye opening view into how he uses these children for money and the families see no kickback at all.
In one interview it was discussed that society should realize if someone is "neurodivergent" it is fine for them to steal things since they don't understand.
They refused to post videos for a month because youtube had disabled comments in all videos with children. Him and his girlfriend posted 3 videos crying about it and demanded their followers flood youtube and their CEO with emails.

This is reinforcing a harmful behavior and someone actually trained in working with special needs kids would not do this let alone broadcast it to social media as something to do.

Just the fact that this dude was filming his old students and putting it on YT should've gotten him shitcanned on the spot. That's straight up not safe (any pedo on the internet could see them).

I almost dropped my phone when I saw SBSK pop up here. I hate this guy. I work with disabled kids. When I first saw him, I was dismayed. Usually when these guys show up on YouTube, it's to make money. I had hoped he wasn't monetizing, but no, of course he was. I get so fucking sick of people like him. He's a predator, at least a monetary predator.

I have a lot of his stuff archived to show people what NOT to do. For at least 3 years he used his students to gain income on youtube and posted they would get a kick back of his "book" then said no one would publish it. Considering how many ways there was to publish it felt like a cash grab bait and switch.

There might not be enough info for a SBSK thread yet, but he absolutely deserves one. Concerned individuals getting dogpiled for having polite criticisms about his content is bullshit. Over the years I've seen comments on various corners of the internet state that something seems "off" about Chis. The literal autists are especially aware of how much of a creep Chris is. They point out how he seems disingenuous, how his questions and tone are milquetoast unless he's speaking to an attractive young lady, ask why his wife looks uncomfortable, wonder where all that money goes... and every damn time Chris' cult attacks with the weakest responses. That "non-profit" defense always makes my eyes roll. There's expense fraud, kickbacks, ghost employees, embezzlement, and so on. Non-profit =/= pure and good. And how many times a year do we hear about technically qualified teachers being awful to their students? Again, pathetically weak shields these SBSK Stans throw out.

Ugh, this guy, he definitely could have his own thread. We talk a lot about how mothers use their potatoes as clout-well, this guy is using all the potatoes he can find the same way. He’s super gross.
In some school districts, photography of kids is an opt-out by parents. That means if you don’t have something on file stating you refuse to let your kid be photographed, they can be. It’s clear on the paperwork, as well as what pictures might be used for. It is usually so a school with a website/newsletter can use pictures of competition winners or special events that occur on campus to show the school community-getting permission from all kids who may be in the background is impossible. (They use stock photos in brochures, so this is strictly school events.). It isn’t supposed to be for an individual teacher to use to make money. And the resource kids or ILS kids wouldn’t really be involved in the kinds of activities photographed. But it’s a good reminder for anybody with kids to read the paperwork that is sent home. Picture/video policy is on there somewhere, usually in all that paperwork at the beginning of the year and in school handbooks. It’s legally binding.
But teachers taking video or pictures to make money on social media? He should have been fired instantly. You can just tell this smarmy guy is super narcissist. He loves his own reflection and probably gets off on horribly deformed children next to his white teeth. I don’t know if he chimps at negativity or responds, but he’s not much different than the Robyn’s of the world. Start a thread, GenoS!

I get this vibe as well. Can anyone tell if he has veneers or what's up with his teeth? They seem artificially white, straight and square shaped. He looks more demonic than the severely disabled, deformed kids.
