That’s some serious autism. Thanks man! Is it worth watching?
The original is very much worth watching; it's a very political space opera with a bajilion characters and a lot going on; explicitly drawing from world history, especially from the Napoleonic up to current times. The fan translations are a bit rough, but it's not too hard to still get what's going on. It uses a lot of classical European music to great effect, most notably Gustav Mahler, probably because it was cheap to license.
It's based on a book series that can also be worth your time; although it too suffers from subpar translation work. If you manage to get into it, it's fascinating, probably the best thing to come out of gook entertainment since Android 18

I’m sorry I can’t help. But I’m looking for anime fags to help with as little info as possible. I remember a few years ago, Jim recommended an anime that basically dealt with two ways to run society, a more fascist one or a democratic one, realized through the characters. And it talked about the benefits and pitfalls of each one and the morality of each. He made it sound really good. I know that’s not much info but the stream was like three years ago and I can’t be bothered to scan hours and hours of streams.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
It is very good, but it is 110 episodes of 80s and 90s animation of variable quality and very dry dialogue about politics. It has hundreds of named characters, most of which have German styled names that are hard to keep track of at first. There’s also not really any “anime” tropes in it, the character designs are very subdued for anime, pretty much everyone is a professional adult, there’s no fan service, and it takes itself completely seriously. I would recommend it but it certainly isn’t for everybody. There is also a remake that is like halfway through airing, but most people prefer the original. Remake isn’t really bad or anything but the original is just better overall.

Jim's insistence that you should not, under any circumstance, send him dolphin porn, sounds about as genuine as Br'er Rabbit's fear of being thrown in the briar patch, and seems to operate on a similar frequency of reverse psychology.

Where did this come from? Is there an anime where 30million year-old succubi, who are also schoolgirls, acquire rainbow powers by fucking dolphins?
it's a reference to an old /v/ thread where someone uploaded an alleged download link to some weird indie game and it ended up being like a terabyte of dolphin porn.

Yeah LoGH took the crown without much effort. There's a few Gundam/Tomino series that sometimes do peak to almost the same level, but they never are as consistent and require you to pass certain filters.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The original ran from 1988-1997. There is a remake on it's fourth season titled Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These.

It's also a book series. Really good shit.

Yes. The new one is dubbed with up to date animation, the old one is old, but complete. You can also read the series, I think. I've never bothered to hunt down the books.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

a number of anime fans are like 90s console autists. They'd defend a bad sub because that was there first experience and it was magical to them. Really annoys me sometimes how people will defend an antiquated practice out of nostalgia and politics.

First Jim didn't know about Mobility Mary
Now Jim didn't know about Rusty Cage's iconic songs

Does he have Alzheimers', on top of the canceraids?
Yeah that's weird since he's an oldfag.

Morning with Metokur on Odysee here.

Edit: Jim has learned about the Balldo and rightfully thinks it's some furfag degeneracy creation, though proof of that is lacking for now.
You forgot to mention that he sent angry messages to the Balldo people pretending to be Josh and using his KF email
