Wow, no one bothered to bring this up.
Guess that means it will be memorable when it comes out! :^)
OMG, that looks like Tumblr: The Movie.

And yet Disney claims they are anti-racist, yet design black characters like that....?

Let's not even mention the "Magical Negro" stereotypes in the live action Pinocchio. How the hell is this not stereotypical again?

Tsk Tsk Disney....Remember positive stereotypes are STILL STEREOTYPES. It's like bathing a turd in glitter. It is still a turd, no matter what.

Had a chance to see Zootopia+ and can say how much the writing certainly brings it down the way it is. The first episode does the Pixar-style "incident within the movie" schtick with Judy's parents on a chase to save one of their kids from having got stuck on the train Judy rides to Zootopia. At least we got another glimpse at Judy's family (and a tiny cameo of Nick).

Trying to watch another but the lagging on Kodi is killing my patience. I'll leave it there.

No no no, sweaty, you don't get it. When we stereotype, we do it in the name of DIVERSITY, so therefore we are absolved of all wrongdoing!

Don't know if this was already posted but pretty good snapshot at Disney's Q4 FY22 "earnings" report.

Also Chapek had this little quote in the earnings call
we expect our DTC operation losses to narrow going forward and Disney+ to achieve profitability in fiscal 2024, assuming we do not see a meaningful shift in the economic climate.

So the excuse for why Disney+ won't be profitable in 2 years is already lined for investors, question is if the parks will stay profitable enough to barley prop everything else up

I've heard an interesting rumor that Disney is setting up Strange World to fail, not because they hate the gays but because they want to gut the studios and will likely blame THE BIGOTS who didn't watch Lightyear and Strange World.
I legit can't tell you of any marketing that might be out there for this movie. Making it a tax write-off sounds like something they would do.

Some of the Disney fansites are stating that Disney has announced plans to increase the annual pass price and now is in talks to institute per park pricing. They did a huge amount of layoffs as well.
per park confirmed, $189 for one day peak time MK

granted, I can't imagine anybody on the entire fucking planet bought a single one-day ticket to any WDW park since the Reagan administration but still

So, just like Treasure Planet then. Only unlike Treasure Planet, which was a legitimately good movie, Strange World looks like every wokeshit Disney movie made in the past 5 years or so, and therefore, deserves to crash and burn with the fire of a thousand suns.

Replace Limewire with BitTorrent, and you'd get the gist.

In a surprising move from modern disney, they're going to remove the IP from the Tarzan treehouse at Disneyland and theme it around the original SEA stuff they've been doing at the parks. The treehouse and Tarzan aren't hot Disney attractions or IP so it probably wont mean anything for the parks' direction in the long run, but after aggressively retheming so many areas and attractions to their existing properties, it's interesting to see the opposite happen.

No wonder it was closed when I went there a few months ago.
They already start the renovation of Toon Town
Only Roger Rabbit ride and some small treehouse left.

I'm guessing the Burroughs estate is still miffed with them after they bungled the John Carter movie. Then again, they pulled the Tarzan rights earlier which meant their entire section in Kingdom Hearts had to be erased in remakes.
