Honestly there’s a depressingly high amount of people who believe in the concept of American exceptionalism despite all that has happened since 1945. To admit that we function as a banana republic is something beyond the pale for many Americans, especially over the age of 40. Because if we weren’t a banana republic that just means we can solve the problem by voting harder, which is an impossibility with current demographics and our various entanglements that are committed to the globohomo vision. You're all missing the point entirely.
They didn't self sabotage.
Firstly, there is no defined Republican Party. There are those who are aligned to the Uniparty, there are those who are independent and there are those who are MAGA.
It boggles the mind that people are still thinking in terms of clear partisanship. It's pure delusion.
Secondly, what on God's green earth about the last 7 years has said to you "Oh yes, the US is 100% a free and open society".
Arizona cheated in 2020 and they're openly cheating now. The NYT ran the infamous fortification article. Wisconsin is absolutely rife with voting corruption.
I don't know if you Burgers are willfully ignorant or what, but if this were a third world country, you'd whole heartedly accept that this country, this "US" is politically corrupt and has wonky elections. But you seem to think that because you're the U.S you're immune to it?
I hate to tell you, but the rest of the world, even the shitholes, can see you're in Banana Republic-land now.
If all your checks and balances - Courts, Media, Institutions, Tech, The Social Space - are wholesale owned by those who seek to control the system, no amount of election promises, stumping or voting will fix that.
Oh yeah, exactly. But look at the vast majority of the MAGA base and what they'll simp for.Honestly there’s a depressingly high amount of people who believe in the concept of American exceptionalism despite all that has happened since 1945. There are many bells that can’t be unrung; we can certainly do better but that’s not going to happen by pushing low quality candidates like Doctor Oz, Herschel Walker, Lauren Hoebert, and Kari Lake. Those dogshit quality candidates are all part of the uniparty game: you offer these shit candidates on one side and vote for the more “reasonable” candidate with the Democrats on the other side. Now we have these slim majorities that will never be able to move anything forward unless it’s shit like more money for Israel and Ukraine.
Agreed, as a well-armed American citizen. But my question is, who do we use those guns against exactly? Other citizens? The military enforcing martial law? Foreign invaders? One is a big no for me. Ain't shooting my neighbors. Two is a maybe, depending on how out of hand shit gets. Three? Lock and load, no issues. But as they like to keep saying - they have their guns. Shit wouldn't happen to Americans, because they have their guns. Guns are only useful as a deterrent against other guns and if you, you know, use them.
Remember; the government doesn't control the economy, until Republicans get in power then it's their fault even if they don't hold the keys to power and the economy is stll chiefly managed by DemocratsOn Trump running. Although there's plenty of issues right now, I think his Joker card will be how badly the Biden admin continues to fuck the economy and other shit up even further over the next two years.
When peeps can't buy food, pay their mortgage/rent, and are paying $10 for a gallon of gas or diesel, shit gonna get real in a hurry. Not even going to speculate on a foreign conflict breaking out, but that would be icing on Trump's cake and his election chances.
In the meantime, all of this is just political masturbation.
Finally, I found another Swolbertarian on this board.Gonna be honest.
If DeSantis spends the next 18 months in the gym getting shredded I think he can pull this off. Ron's biggest weakness next to Trump is the fact that Ron is the same height as Taylor Swift and the enormous ham hocks he calls legs make him look even smaller.
But what if this guy gets ripped and starts flexing on Trump during the primary debates? Climb on top of the podium and just let those 22 inch pythons run wild while the crowd screams in absolute adulation.
We got this bros, we just need to get Miss Piggy some free weights. Maybe some kettlebells.
P.S. Also tell that spaghetti nigger to knock off the pasta. He's not in the old country anymore so maybe a trip to a salad bar is also in order. Teach him to eat right.

After this last election, I'm too jaded to think normies will vote for their own self preservation. It looks like people will vote dem unless they're literally on deaths door. Cause even the dems promise of food to a starving man will have him vote their way. The non maga gop will sabotage anyone getting in the way of the grift. Please God, prove me wrong. On Trump running. I mean. There's still the blood version of the red wave and it's being led by your average paranoid schizo Antifag.Red waves don't exist, lmao.
Never will.
Our country and representatives would sooner wage war on itself and print money than fix actual issues. When peeps can't buy food, pay their mortgage/rent, and are paying $10 for a gallon of gas or diesel, shit gonna get real in a hurry. to be fair, some of the problems millennial adults face are the ones they created themselves. It's a hard time for a millennial to be an adult.
Tell that to the retirement homes that housed COVID positive people and hid it.I'm too jaded to think people will still vote den unless they're literally on deaths door. Cause even the dems promise of food to a starving man will have him vote their way. Please god prove me wrong.
Some being the operative word there.to be fair, some of the problems millennial adults face are the ones they created themselves.
It's a hard time for a millennial to be an adult.
Zoomer here. At least millennials had a good, long taste of prosperity, a true sense of colorblindness, and a belief in America as a good country. We got a fleeting glimpse of the former but Orange Man was the one to bring it about, so of course, it had to go. Which lead to the 2020 election, which blew the shit out of the latter. And wokeism, which killed colorblindness, came about because Occupy Wall Street scared the shit out of the elites. Fuck millennials (the coomer/participation trophy generation) and boomers (old farts who think what worked for them will work for everyone else) for ruining everything for us.to be fair, some of the problems millennial adults face are the ones they created themselves.
Define zoomer. What year range is that? I'm in my 20s. I'm feeling the effects of the impending recession under this administration, especially after graduating from college.Zoomer here. This is something few people in the MAGA set want to admit: most of the MAGA candidates are just awful. Kari Lake likes bashing the media but does she have any kind of skill set to govern Arizona? Of course not, so she’ll just bring on a bunch of AZ GOP people and you get another Doug Ducey term effectively. That’s what happened with Trump where he had to bring on swamp creatures nobody liked such as John Bolton. Having no experience but claiming you’ll tell it like is does not cut it with runaway inflation, record high immigration, severe water shortages in Arizona, etc. I’m focusing on Lake just as an example but she can be swapped out for the vast majority of MAGA candidates.Oh yeah, exactly. But look at the vast majority of the MAGA base and what they'll simp for.
A lot of Patriots.win simped for the mexican chick who was all "MAGA" and then, as soon as she was elected, she went on about making sure more mexicans could get in.
MTG is a nutjob, Boebert is out for what she can get, Kari Lake... come on, Oz was unpopular, Walker was so-so. Remember they propped up Larry Elder in California at one stage?
Half of the base will simp for any loud mouth who says "WE'LL PROVE THEY STOLE THE ELECTION AND WE'LL ARREST THEM ALL". The rest of the base is resigned to the fact that it's sort of useless. The system is rigged.
There's a small group of those on the right, doing some good work (Rand Paul, Jim Jordan). But they're often hamstrung by the overall environment. There's only so far they can push before Globohomo pushes back, sadly.
But as they like to keep saying - they have their guns. Shit wouldn't happen to Americans, because they have their guns. Guns are only useful as a deterrent against other guns and if you, you know, use them.
Not quite. Refer to the recent U.S vs Litsson Antonio Perez-Gallan decision. That may have just killed red flag laws outright. In terms of guns, red flag laws have effectively neutralized that, something that conservatives have almost completely ignored. It doesn’t get reported on but there are numerous Ruby Ridge-tier scandals going on each year but don’t get reported on much.
This gives me an urge to fedpost. I'm going to try and keep this to hypotheticals.Agreed, as a well-armed American citizen. But my question is, who do we use those guns against exactly? Other citizens? The military enforcing martial law? Foreign invaders? One is a big no for me. Ain't shooting my neighbors. Two is a maybe, depending on how out of hand shit gets. Three? Lock and load, no issues.
The only other scenario for lock and load is strictly defensive of my home and family from groups of dreg grifters looting my shit. Then it's simply fuck around and find out.
Okay, this has absolutely peaked my curiosity. I haven't heard about this - could you share some additional details? It doesn’t get reported on but there are numerous Ruby Ridge-tier scandals going on each year but don’t get reported on much. It shows just how fragile things are.
