I think this is just a genuine, wrathful reaction of a woman who had to watch a man act so belligerently after committing such big atrocities. Judge Dorow is a lot more pleasant, interesting and thoughtful to listen to than many audiobooks. It is important I think for the court to recite its perspective of events as formed by the trial. She is reviewing for the sake of the victims and society, so they can feel something happened. By reviewing, she's also planting truths that Brooks' conscience can bring to mind, to counter the lies he shelters in to maintain the delusion of his innocence. Whether he accepts it or not, the truth has been told to him.
