All their sources like insane troons and Blue Checks have been posting ever since Elon took over about how nobody will be able to "maintain" Twitter. I have no idea what this actually means and none of them explain it. The best we seem to get are something about databases getting kludged up as if Elon wouldn't be able to pay contractors for this in a worst case scenario? They also seem to think that someone who builds a website that will apparently collapse without thousands of people around to constantly press the "keep working" buttons are people who should be employed for life. (One
Era endorsed Blue Check said they don't think Twitter will make it to Thanksgiving even before this latest Musk directive and I've seen many people repeating this (and the "won't make it to the end of the year") despite making zero sense.)
I find progressives in general seem to think that both everything is so simple that the state (i.e. themselves) can direct it perfectly at all times without any information and also that everything is impossibly complex that only a self-selected elite (which always includes themselves) can ever know how it works at all. (And this elite often never includes billionaires even in the relevant fields like Musk and Bezos, probably because they think all billionaires do nothing to earn their wealth since number just goes up automatically. Also billionaires aren't smart enough to hire people who know things they don't.)
