As someone who's a casual watcher of Nick's stuff, the thing that perplexes me the most about this fiasco is the fact that I've seen the huge amounts of growth and attention he got from his coverages of both Rittenhouse and Depp v. Heard. There's an argument to be made that he is literally the biggest in the sektur.
Granted, a lot of those views came from boomers and normies (and boomer normies) who just wanted to catch what was going on and won't know or even care about this shit, and I don't have an accurate sense of how big his core viewerbase is (how many people tune in when he's not covering some high-profile thing). But with the amount of exposure he's gotten lately and assuming his streams get around the same number of viewers as Metokur's on average, shouldn't he be less compelled to be TMI, not more?
