Eh maybe. But OCD posts (Reddit is full of them, on all topics) are usually in the tone of seeking reassurance. "Am I really a guy? I have 20 guy thoughts and 3 girl thoughts per day, does that mean I need to transition?" This sounds more like an emotional manipulator cluster B type, pulling a bigger audience into her drama to play whatever twisted games that type likes to play.
Because you can't get blood from a stone. No insurance company dollas, no payout.
I'm slightly surprised to see an actual licensed MD pulling this stunt. There are usually state regulatory rules that prevent it. It's more often the MO of shady "alt med" types like chiropractors and lay midwives. They have their suckers sign a sheaf of paperwork acknowledging that if things go wrong they won't sue and if they do sue, haha there's no insurance so good luck with that.

I was initially pretty surprised to see a detransitioner post on one of the main, larger troon subreddits that had this kind of approval rating

But of course the comments are full of seething and trying to convince this poor person who finally got out of the cesspool after his wife whipped his ass into shape to get back on HRT and ruin his life. It's full of the usual tactics, trying to guilt this dude who got his shit together to think he's going to end up offing himself all because he doesn't want to cut his cock off anymore, telling him to "love and accept" himself for who he "truly is inside", and to "be a good role model for his children."
Yeah because having a supportive wife who actually gives a shit about your physical and mental health and doesn't blindly let you follow your perverted fantasies is so "unsupportive"
This complete degenerate not even trying to be subtle about the manipulation
And naturally some painting the wife as a complete bitch
I went over his profile and prior to the post here, the last activity he had was from 5 months ago. There's a lot of posts where he's seen debating if his "thoughts will ever go away". Looks like he finally stepped away from the echo chamber, hopefully stopped the porn as well and just spent time with his wife and kids to reset his brain.
His wife started feeling guilty for telling him to stop being such a coomer a year ago (post body was deleted unfortunately so had to go through camas to get it)
And of course the comments are just more seething calling her a bully and claiming his relationship won't last.

i hope this works out for this guy, but i fear for his wife. detox may be possible- and i hope it is for both of their sakes- but many “trans widows” talk about “purge cycles”, like AGP guys are similar to struggling alcoholics.
