I'm surprised nobody's brought this up yet:

Pixar released the teaser for their newest movie, Elemental. IMO - meh. Notable for actually having a heterosexual couple, so they still haven't gone COMPLETELY off the deep end. And again with the modern shlock pop music.

First official image from Indiana Jones 5.
Most notably, it’ll be the first without Steven Spielberg as director, ‘Logan’s James Mangold instead filling the big chair, and working on a script that has also seen work from Jez and John-Henry Butterworth.
Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, huh? What else have they don -

This is gonna suuuuuuuck. *sigh*

Some madlad at originaltrilogy.com is doing a 35mm film scan of The Brave Little Toaster. The folks at Kineko Video are planned to help out with restoration. Even the original film's director Jerry Rees is helping out by giving guidance, as well Brian McEntee. He helped with both the film's writing, color timing and art direction. Brian himself was known for being an art director on Beauty and the Beast and Cats Don't Dance and was a production designer for said film, as well as the original Ice Age.

It make me happy to see a community go out of there way to find and remaster film reels of both movies, shows and even trailers, especially if it's something you haven't seen since you were a kid. I had some nostalga with this movie and I'm happy it's finally getting the treatment it deserves.

Nice! I probably waited 34 years for this. Having first saw it here...

They got rid of Chapek as CEO and brought back Iger, LMAO they must be really grasping at straws to reverse course. Chapek always seemed like the fall guy who'd take the hit for the flaws in the Iger era while making their money back.
Probably not gonna change anything though, a lot of Chapek's shit was him doubling down on Iger's policies. But Iger still somehow has a good reputation with casual Disney fans as a "master negotiator" (even though comcast royal fucked him with the fox deal) so we might get a few months of "Disney is back" articles.

All major corporations are realizing that ESG is a trap and wokeness is a losing proposition and are scrambling for the exits, and this is unacceptable to the globohomo crowd, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Iger weren't being reinstalled to keep the Mouse from getting based and to keep it on the road to cuckdom. All the Disney nerd sites and YouTubers I follow are betting on ESG and China being behind this since Chapek was rumbling about cutting down on the woke, and Musk's bluehair genocide at Twitter, along with Zaslak's open contempt for coastal retardation in his recent WB investor's call, may be scaring the shit out of the WEF ghouls.

100% agree. The timing of Iger's exit after the idiotic Fox buyout, which itself was the creshendo of a bunch of other bullshit Iger had been doing (dumb shit like the NBA Experience at Disney Springs, which was him trying to court the NBA), totally made Chapek the fall guy. That said, I am surprised the absolute moment things are getting SUPER bad for Disney after being just normal bad, the board kicked Chapek off immediately.

I am pleased that Iger is back, though - I don't know why he agreed to come back, but whatever the reason he now has to face up to a whole lot of karma that it looked like he was going to escape.

Where this is going to lead isn't going to be good for Disney. But it's going to be highly entertaining to see a long overdue corporate implosion.

Iger's good reputation has a lot to do with MUH MCU which has had a steep dropoff in quality, I wouldn't put it past people to think he'll magically make Disney better though. What they'll want from him is for Disney to go back to the way it was in 2019, which is impossible because of his own decisions.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the CCP finally seize the Shanghai Park that Iger worked so hard to get built. It's going to be glorious.

Another interesting doc by Defunctland on the origins of the Disney Channel theme.
That Andrea Taylor lady has a voice that sounds like the waitress from the diner scene in The Emperor's New Groove.
Hearing those coworkers describe their dead friend Alex Lasarenko with nothing but compliments brought an unexpected warm wholesome feel to that video.

Overall it's an interesting rabbit hole of a video on something you don't really think about.

Had a chance to see Zootopia+ and can say how much the writing certainly brings it down the way it is. The first episode does the Pixar-style "incident within the movie" schtick with Judy's parents on a chase to save one of their kids from having got stuck on the train Judy rides to Zootopia. At least we got another glimpse at Judy's family (and a tiny cameo of Nick).

Trying to watch another but the lagging on Kodi is killing my patience. I'll leave it there.
You need to stop watching furry movies. That shit will rot your brain. It’s as bad as porn.

Speaking of which Brother Bear is the furriest of all furry movies. He doesn’t even become a human at the end. The message of the movie is to reject humanity and literally become a bear. Wtf.

And people think it's racist because being a bear is literally better than being Inuit according to the movie.

Don't forget that in the sequel HIS GIRLFRIEND BECOMES A BEAR, TOO. Does that make it more or less furry?

Did it have to be another fucking modern setting? Its not edgy anymore, outward already ruined the concept. Would it have killed them to set it in an actual fantasy world?

Also lmao at the names.

"Ember" ~Fire elementa;

"Wayde" ~Water elemental

Sorry bruh but you watch too much youtube ragebait if you think disney would actualy put alphabets front and center in a mainline production. They don't hate money that much.
