thats the thing about keffals dude legit can never just stop. so many of his problems could have been easily solved by stopping but he refuses. he might make a post somewhere about taking time away from the internet or maybe just not looking at twitter. but then what do we see? deleted tweet after deleted tweet or some stupid discord rant.

You'd think if he truly, truly believed in his cause and content he'd be creating in defiance of his critics out of sheer stubbornness, and because he cares about his fanbase. I think the issue is that he put all of his chips on the table counting on Cloudflare making him the great Twitter saviour. He made a clown of himself, promising to achieve unprecedented censorship measures, not even giving a thought to the fact that whilst Matt Prince might be scared of Twitter troons, Josh sure as hell isn't. Whatever he does now will always be overshadowed by his pioneering a censorship campaign based on half truths and flat out lies. Even years down the line, during any given stream, there's always the possibility of somebody asking where the money went and why 'website zero' got a free pass, I think this is the source of stress.

I remember when there was a 'dropkiwifarms' Keffals reddit page. We got a fleeting insight into what fifteen minutes of fame feels like, and how easy it is to get caught up in the excitement of it all without taking the time to consider things not quite going to plan. As soon as things became complicated and Josh put up a fight, their numbers pretty much dwindled to Johnny Fallout and Liz. That's Keffals legacy, a basement dwelling shut in and some corporate scumbag best known for a tweet about 'consent accidents'.

Were I advising Keffals, I'd recommend taking a break, then creating content where interactions can be managed. Videos totally removed from Internet drama, attempts at restoring some of the bridges burnt during dropkiwifarms and so on. Then again, we have to remember that Keffals is an ardent leftist and a terrible person. Given the brains and the resources, he'd gladly do more harm to his critics than having a website shut down. If he had tech CEO's at his beck and call again, we'd see less doom posting and more self congratulatory smugness.
