I have no idea why Phil keeps up the act like he doesn't know Emil H and TeamICO only show up to drop these bombs and tips. Like, that's their only purpose. They never show up to his streams otherwise, and absolutely EVERYONE knows this. So why does he act like what they do will lead to "organic growth" and center his goals around them? I doubt he's gained more than 20 genuine new members since the bombs.

He pretends because he doesn't want to admit that he's bankrolled by like 4 whales and that his "efforts" to grow have not succeeded. He's just desperate to remain in denial for as long as possible.
