reddit General

I love how Elon was Reddit's golden child just a few years ago and then they all turned on him overnight.
These losers believe they’re all independent thinkers then parrot mainstream media talking points engineered by glowniggers and fed to their army of mouthpieces.

When you're a wokeist, one sin is all you need to fall from the highest pinnacle to the deepest pit.

In this case, the blasphemy commited is being moderately in favor of free speech.
He was never even that overtly woke, at least not that I can remember. I think Reddit just embraced him as one of their own and then realized that he's really the same brand of out of touch millionaire that they hate.

I've recently found out that I'm shadowbanned on reddit, and not just one account either. One I created less than a week ago has been shadowbanned, and it seems like it was from its inception. My account I've had for probably 5 or so years was also shadowbanned, but I have no shortage of reasons to assume why that happened.

So what gives? Am I just permabanned from reddit?

He was known for posting "le funne maymays" and having an ironic sense of humor, which is something most don't think of when they think of 1% billionaires.

I always thought Musk made it clear that he was never "one of the them". He's an eccentric billionaire after all. Sure he seemed "quirky", but that casting couch actress Jennifer Lawrence was also "quirky" and people turned on her when they realized it was all for the press.

Speaking of Reddit users hypocrisy or wishy-washy opinions, I've seen a few posts on r/CryptoCurrency regarding rich people and users saying "death to all wealthy" or screw money laundering charities... while advocating for/showing an interest in crypto currency. Which has never largely involved a bunch of rich people scamming suckers and disappearing without a trace.

It was more than the "le funne maymays" though, I think a lot of them looked at the projects he promised to deliver on, and saw it as the fast track to "Luxury Space Communism". A figure who could usher in such an age would be universally beloved(at least by the general population, A certain postal enthusiast might have something to say about such a world) especially by the hedonist plebs that occupy reddit.

Most are shocked at the amount of deletions, and if the average participating redditor knew how bad it was, the site would lose at least half of it's activity overnight.
Ok, I had never actually done this, I just did it and holy shit. Anything even mildly disagreeable gets canned. It doesn't even have be disagreeable, a lot of the removed comments are highly upvoted.

Like I can reasonably expect which comments of mine may get canned, but this was like x10 the ammount I was expecting even for relatively benign/inoffensive stuff.

Reddit is way worse than I was even expecting. I recommend everyone here on this thread try it, I'm cynical as fuck and even I was shocked to see the number of deletions.

They don't notice because every comment that gets deleted is just a troll, so them getting deleted and banned is a good thing.
