Careercow Jeremy Charles Dewitte - Serial police impersonator, convicted felon, sex offender

Short answer: This is Florida.

Long answer:
I suspect he actually makes a somewhat decent haul doing funeral escorts. He gets business from the family and friends of dead gang members. They want to do a funeral escort but don’t want off-duty cops around, lest the gangs unit look around for outstanding warrants. He can also scam general bereaved people into thinking they need the funeral escort and processions are something done for everyone who has ever died. The funeral industry is full of scams and DeWitte is running one of them. The death industry is ripe for scams because the customers aren’t coming back every week. Business relationships are short. The family doesn’t know DeWitte is batshit until after they’ve paid him. Once it’s done, the person is dead, so everyone just moves on with their lives and DeWitte moves to the next mark.

It’s enough to pay peanuts to his “employees” and pay for gas and the downpayments on the vehicles. Then Florida’s crazy laws make it difficult to collect money. I’m sure he’s got creditors after him, but he knows where to hide the money, and how repo men might try to get his shit. I know his finances are in fact bad because I’ve seen dashcam footage of his card getting declined and him yelling at Visa about it. But people like Jeremy DeWitte are good at getting things that they don’t deserve, so he’s got all his fake cop gear.

Finally, he seems to have learned some lessons from his time in the legal system. Not the right lessons. He knows how to push the gray areas of the law to the limit, and he must know the right sketchy attorney to call. He hasn’t done hard time in a while, because what he does isn’t *that* illegal. The Florida funeral escort business is just the right niche for him to play cop without having to answer to anyone. He’s a criminal. He can do a year or two and not sweat it.
I always assumed this guy was burning though an inheritance. He seemed to own/rent a nice house with a lot of frivolous crap inside in one of his videos. Did this guy ever get a settlement from his consistent run in with cops who were frustrated to deal with the guy?

Oh this guy has a thread? I'll be keeping up with this.

Going back before he was in the slammer I had some unsavory interactions with him during one of my visits to the Orlando area while he was in his uniform, that's when I started keeping eyes on him through Real World Police on youtube.

The escorting business in Florida doesn't end with Jeremy, it goes as far down as Miami and even some funeral homes will work with these escort businesses too. The Jews in Miami have made it like a "legitimate business" because of the gray areas in escorting, death and funerals. The cemeteries in Opa Locka and Tamarac are massive, and the bodies just keep piling up.

So what I'm getting from the video is he's going to keep trying to do the same stupid shit, but this time he won't say the word "police" ever, and thinks that'll save his ass
Criminal mentality confirmed. It's usually a certain class of people that look for retarded gotcha things like this, and it's even funnier that Jeremy is now coming up with pre-excuses like this. I imagine that this is Chris Chan level thinking and reasoning and I wish to encourage Jeremy every step of the way in this new adventure.

The crazy part is his business is successful.

He has made a lot of money, if you took away him being a sex offender and him being a Walter Mitty then you'd have a successful self-made businessman.

i've watched some of his videos before and enjoyed his bullshit, but man, i had not 'til now seen any of the jennifer stuff. she is truly a demon from hell... and exactly what jeremy deserves!

For those disinclined to read through the whole thread, Jennifer is the super-manipulative, dishonest & batshit 'side chick' that seems to have taken over his youtube channel and most of the rest of his life. there's lots of content with the two of them but i think my favorites are...

this post/video, a sort of introduction where we learn about Jennifer falsely accusing the handyman of her apartment complex of rape AND about her abusing her extended family, esp. her 80-something-year-old grandma.

...and this jewel where Jennifer calls Jeremy up to ask an unspecified but urgent favor, then tries to get him arrested for recording the call, and then they then compete in an epic gaslight olympics in his office. both aware they're being recorded, they try to trap one another, dancing around the hilarious but ugly fact she's in the process of vindictively sending him to prison (for being a sex offender on a dating website).

as a youtube commenter says, the conversation is basically

“What’s going on?”
“What do you mean? Why are you doing this?”
“Doing what? I’m confused.”
“I don’t know, what did you do?”
“Why are you accusing me? I feel threatened!”

I'd like to believe that at some point in time as their lives are coming to an end that they will think back and ponder, "Why did I waste my life with dumbassery like this?"

Of course that will never happen.

can someone who's a little more knowledgeable explain why you'd even want to impersonate a cop? it's not like it's extremely hard to just become one and then you're not committing a crime.

Many police impersonators want respect and power that they have not earned. They view police officers as little mobile dictators running free in the wild to make peoples' lives a living hell. They do not view police officers as public servants. They want the attention and admiration without any of the actual legitimate hard work. In Jeremy's case, he has at least one felony conviction on his record that would automatically disqualify him from being employed in law enforcement in Florida.

just seems so silly to get yourself on paper for a crime that doesn't give you any money or any respect. a lot of people don't respect actual cops, forget about fake ones.

maybe when jeremy's in year 9 of his next decade locked up he'll have that insight.

the FIRST DAY after they met (on ashley madison) jennifer was already calling the cops on him.... he gave her a fake name (jay) but she dug up his real identity and snitched on him for using kik and ashley madison as a sex offender.

she's successfully had jeremy locked up multiple times, including for assault (he was trying to close the door, she stuck her foot in the doorway, boom, jeremy goes off to jail for six weeks)... and gone to the police TRYING to get him locked up countless times more... yet he keeps her on payroll and in his life.

i don't know if it's bc he's really just that into her, or because he somehow believes he can outsmart and control her and his narcissism won't let him admit he can't manage it, but i would bet a couple paychecks that jeremy will be back behind bars v soon.

check out jeremy trying his hardest to bully/extort/manipulate her and getting nowhere... homie's way out of his depth.

once you've served any kind of real prison sentence, it starts to get exponentially -- not gradually-- worse every subsequent time the cops are called. petty shit that jeremy would have gotten a fine for a few years ago now will be a probation violation and/or an excuse for fresh, more serious charges. add to that the main person in his life relentlessly campaigning to get him locked up and dawg, it's a wrap.

i have zero compassion for jeremy but i do hope old MOTOR ONE gets all the fresh air and daylight possible while he can. Staying in florida with Jennifer is the classic "doing the same thing and expecting different results."

Jeremy always wanted to be a cop. When he was 17 in the police explorers program he went to a gas station and filled up, said he was a cop and presented his explorers badge as payment. He was charged with impersonating/theft and dropped from the explorers.

"And on that channel, we don't talk about certain things. We ain't certain things. And we're not a part of certain things. Justsaiyan.jpg. We'll talk about a lot of things. But definitely not about certain things. And I won't say that I'm with certain things."

Lmfao you can tell how hard he's been drilling himself on it, but there's no possible way this beautiful idiot is gonna survive his probation. So how long til the violation huh?

Use youtube DLG (https://mrs0m30n3.github.io/youtube-dl-gui/) for videos, there's some quirks with uploading to kiwi farms but they're easy to learn and if you need to know more about it you can ask around. I know I'm an asshole but learning how to archive is one thing I'm willing to help people with as long as you're not a retard about it.
Holy shit, there is a thread here on this guy?! I use to watch all of the cop cams with him in it. This dude is a real piece. Also
>using youtube-dl-gui and not the command line
smh

Both of you are wrong. Youtube-dl has been a mostly dead repo for over a year since the claims halted them and Youtube-dl-gui died right along with it. Pretty much all of the modern work moved to https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp. Youtube-dl still sort of works, but runs slow as shit, barely has anyone working on it now and is broken entirely on a bunch of sites. YT-DLP is infinitely more reliable and fast as fuck.
