I'm not sure if others noticed it but the craze for "le equity" started with this stupid thing. Someone with photoshoop should insert a third panel that says $8 but it's the South Park episode with Randy fighting other dads at the baseball game.

That reminds me, a while back I was listening to a couple of my friends (who both live in California) vent about their experiences there, and suddenly I understand why people do mass shootings. What a fucking toxic place to live, it'd drive any sane man or woman to madness.

Putting aside which inflations and how, what was this figure when the economy was in good shape? Were people earning fifty cents more than the seventies during the dot com bubble or something?

I find this interesting and perhaps it explains your fitting in on Kiwifarms of all places. The boomer stereotype of [insert 24/7 news network] blasting on max volume every day on the TV is very real, anecdotally, and it seems to contribute to "boomerisms." Not sure which is the cause and which is the effect now that I think about it.

I find it very difficult to keep up with bill changes and this made me realize there's no reason legislation in our government shouldn't have changes applied using a version control tool like git. Yes, the thing github is based of of. It would allow anyone to very easily see who made what changes to any bill.
Briefly looking into it, it may be possible to implement this on your own but it should be the default. They won't do it since accountability is their bane, of course.
