However, with that said, one side isn't acting like they're some kind of bastion of democracy. One side doesn't try to guilt-trip and deride me when I ask why more money is needed to be given to them, or call me an ethical criminal when I say we should have minimal stakes in this issue. Can you guess which side seems to be doing the emotional manipulation?
This is one thing gets to me. Around where I live there are some stores which used to stock reading material printed in Russian and elderly people would sometimes send their children or other people they know to get them something. They want something easier to read, something familiar to them because they're looking for a comfortable pass-time; basic sort of stuff. One such location was a store operated by Ukrainians. The daughter of one of these elderly people came in looking for some reading material and when she asked the store owner if there was anything in Russian the store owner started cursing at her before yelling at her and telling her to leave. This woman's parent, likely in his late 70s or early 80s, whom almost certainly holds no love for the Russia that exists today, just wants some easy reading material and the sack of shit store owner didn't have the self-control to simply say "I'm sorry, we don't have anything" and leave it at that.

Really is amazing how there's no consideration for who people are, how much aid has been given to Ukraine and at what cost, nor the fact that people may be rubbed the wrong way by the entitlement and explosive outbursts put on display for all to see. Simply fucking stunning. Personally, I've gone from "I'd really like to see this war end before more people needlessly die for the ambitions of rich bastards" to "Ukraine should be left in a ditch to fend for itself."

Okay, let me rephase this for you.

There is currently war in Ukraine.
War in which Ukraine is a victim of agression from stronger neighbour, that's also nuclear power.
War in which russia targets ordinary citizens, by destroying power grid.
Because russia can't defeat Ukrainian military, they want to force negotiation by cutting off energy, gas and water.
During winter.

And all of this doesnt matter to you, becasue some random shmuck was mean to some other random shmuck.
Amazing, kill yourself.

Personally, my takeaway from this is Ukraine should've never given up their nukes. Putin would've thought twice about going full retard if the Kremlin was within nuking distance. I'm against military intervention in Ukraine because I don't like the idea of risking nuclear war, even though I resent Putin for kicking off all this senseless killing. Nukes are the ultimate deterrent against all but the most ardent retards, so every sovereign country should have a few. Wars of conquest would stop overnight.
If they did that, United States would have shown up with the consent of Yeltsin to disarm them by force. If you're too young or historically illiterate to know how the world was like back then, they absolutely had the capacity and bi-partisan consensus to be the world police as their reward for winning the cold war. They didn't want any Rogue Nation to suddenly mix everything up by them unilaterally declaring themselves a nuclear power based on stuff they have lying around. Rogue Soviet Nukes in Wrong Hands was a major 90's trope in all sorts of media as a dramatic device to be scared of, on par with Hackers Typing Dramatic Text on Monitor, Scary Domestic Right-Wing Terrorists Bombings, and EvilPollutionCorp cutting Pristine Rainforest full of Fluffy Animals. VDV and USMC would be having photo-sessions together in 1997, bragging about how they prevented nuclear proliferation by force.

So what do y'all think is the next move on the battlefield?

Will they artillery duel themselves to death while the fronts remain static, will Ukraine break through once again? Will Russia get momentum in the Donbass?
It all feels very foggy right now, but the odds are very against Russia on the battlefield

Feels like their best hope is throwing missiles at critical infrastructure when winter comes

Also, how come Russia is throwing themselves at the Bakhmut area? I honestly dont understand, could someone with more knowledge about Russian plans/battlefield info in general give me an explanation
The losses must be enormous as they've been doing this for months

Damn, it sure is crazy they were concerned about a Rogue Nation with nukes doing crazy shit during the Cold War. I'm sure glad we've moved past that risk now that the Cold War is over. Thanks for educating me on the history.

The reality is smaller nations such as Iran and North Korea only want nukes for defensive purposes. It's large nations with large stockpiles of nukes that want to "fight nuclear weapon proliferation" because it's easy to justify an invasion of a sovereign nation if it doesn't have the capability to delete your economy with E3 HEMP.

JIDF bot fatal error
JIDF bot No 2, surprised this one didn't post another child porn video
Another shill telling Americans to spend their money on foreigners and not their own citizens
This is literal /pol/ tier shilling sperging about Russia, Russians, irrelevant details and naturally, personal attacks: the Eternally Ungrateful Holhol Brigades. classic forum derailment tactics.

But back to what's been going on and the subject of this thread; the conscripts with rusty rifles destroyed 2 BMPs along with crews and infantry near Orlyanka:

Multiple explosion in Ukrainian occupied Kherson; the Ukrainian Armed Forces have resumed shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

So what will happen for those future months?:
Russobros:When is Bakhmut going to fall?
Ukrainebros:When you are going to cross the river?

There can't be a straight and serious answer to that, really, from either side. Cope and seethe variables only with the only adequate answer is "It's uncertain, we shall see it through time and look what will happen, eventually\occasionally".

In somewhat related note. Catch a guy from an upside-down continent ended up in Russia for whatever cause this madlad is here, enjoying his life and showing the world that things in Russian stores are almost haven't changed at all, just some brands left\remained there but performing under other registered brand now in terryfying shape, nothing's left, people eat the last hedgehog in Moscow etc. because Kyiv Independent says so! :story:

apparently my neighbour has been steadily moving the fence between our houses so i need to put a stop to that"

"apparently he's already covered my grandmas kryzhovnik (gooseberries) patch
idk how to say kryzhovnik in nglish
its this berry we grow i like
and now its covered by fence
cant let him get away with it"

"if he took a few cm it would be fine but hes gone way too far"
