That's what illegals are for
Not when they tightened the rules really hard. Once again though, it's the small/medium businesses get fucked by that
.
They basically treat you guilty for knowingly hiring illegals unless you can prove otherwise (Or bribe them like a large corp). We keep photo copies of SSN now and they still have the gall to say "But you should've have known it was impersonation". How the fuck do we know who's using a stolen SSN? It's implied with the name of it being fucking stolen.

My company just cut back HARD on overtime for the hourly guys. It’s interesting to see who has been living beyond their means. They also are rumored to have decided to skip the free Christmas ham every employee
Might I ask you what industry?
In other news, one of the major fruit/nut tree nurseries got fucked this year by the weather "We won't be having any 5-6' trees of a common tree type. Sorry. Will try to order you some from the east coast. We don't have enough to fulfill orders for trees 4'-5' either."
Basically that's about a year or two difference of production lost. Will be shit for growers because we will have to deal with deer/hogs more than we usually do.

I’d rather not say as it’s a very small industry and I don’t want to dox myself.

I don't know if this is the best thread for this, but I've had several shitty restaurant and shopping experiences in the recent past to the point that I don't bother with restaurants anymore at all, full stop.
Yeah it’s interesting how almost every place has went to shit. Nothing is open 24 hours anymore, shrinkflation is rampant, and a bunch of menu options have been removed. I rarely go to restaurants outside of work travel and holy shit, it’s gone downhill rapidly in just the last couple years. This is even for higher end restaurants. It’s good for my waistline but sucks from a quality of life perspective.

I humbly welcome you to Brazil.

My nearby Taco Bell's hours have increased but so have their prices

Just found out more about turkeys being expensive this Thanksgiving. I remembered reading somewhere that it might be $20 more than anticipated. Anyone else hear news about this?

I just keep seeing tabloids of people claiming to eat chicken based dinners, but some people want to eat out in the expensive cities so they don’t have to cook this year.

I don't have anything at all to back this up, but media has put out price scares for holiday meals for the last few years. People will continue to pay. Protip: if you don't want to pay that, check out a local church or food bank for free shit. People are generous around this time of year.

I got 2 turkey breasts on "sale" at Hyvee. I could have gotten 4-5 for the price just a couple years ago.

You know that's a real emergency in the US right? No, I still ain't calling to snitch.
I gotta hand it to Boondocks because they really understand nigger culture. This is exactly how the Basketball Americans reacted to Popeyes running out of their chicken sandwich. All the way down to the frivolous 911 calls.

So much of that show is pretty real reflection of US societal issues. Off the top of my head the nigga moment mini-serries, booty warrior, this scene, and Uncle Ruckus (No relation) and his 51% white DNA test.

Jury's still out on the relationship dynamic between Tom and Sarah though being representative of interracial marriages though.

Also this is more reflective of society as whole:

You do realize that The Boondocks took place after most of these events and is directly mocking them in the same manner that South Park does?

Peter Zeeshan's latest take on the state of Europe.

As India approaches the position of being the worlds most populated country,
does anyone have an educated opinion on if they are likely to enter a catastrophic famine because of the global fertilizer shortage?

I know India got where it is because it has some of the biggest rivers and fertile lands in its territory, but can the current numbers hold if some of the modern synthetic fertilizers get rugpulled out of their system?
