So, homophobe Pat "Fat Robertson" Tomlinson thinks gay men shouldn't be able to buy weapons. Absolutely no way Pat has read a single paragraph of Jung. or Dune. His explanation of the book's theme is the same as every left leaning normie who pretends to have read it - "something something charismatic leaders are bad". That's one of the themes and even that theme isn't explicated until the sequel books.
Perhaps the main theme of Dune (imo) is that the life-force cannot be tamed for long, it will always find a way to seek its own ends and we will all be dragged along with it, for better or for worse.

The Lard is functionally illiterate. He knows his A-B-C's, sure, but he's extremely unlettered. His continual confusion about words, not just ecliptic-eclectic, tacit-tactic etc., but all the other flat out incorrect usages, punctuation and grammar and syntax. He routinely demonstrates profound ignorance on the most basic of subjects. E.g. His entire twitter timeline Just in case Patso is reading: E.g. is Latin exempli gratia. It means ~'for example'. We Farmers knew that already. He has nothing but crumbs of surface level knowledge on a very limited range of subjects. With unreconstructed ignorance, not only ignorant but proudly, defiantly ignorant and thoroughly unwilling to change is how he goes through life.
This referencing Jung is the latest example. The Lard has not only ever read any Jung, he has never had even a smattering of education in psychology. We've seen his HS transcript. Did he take Psych101 at the junior college he attended for 1 semester, or less? No idea if he dropped out or flunked out. He may be repeating misunderstood fragments of things he heard Ma Raven say. She has a psychology degree, IIRC.
Patso is most impressed that Hive social was founded by a woman, and is woman owned. I do hope the pests let the ladies of Hive know about The Lard's rampant misogyny. 'Twould be passing sad were he to be banned.

It's why he worships at the altar of Brianna Wu. Both of them are great proponents of thinking they know what they're talking about but having no clue. They have a cargo cult understanding of, well, understanding things. But they do understand that what you say isn't as important as how you say it to most people, so you just claim expertise and throw around a couple of bits of jargon you picked up from the internet, and people who don't know the topic are inclined to believe you.
Where both Wu and Pat get it wrong isn't just the part where if you know anything about what they're referring to you instantly realise they're full of shit. They both also are stupid enough to say things that even a normie can look at and see that it's not right, from rocks thrown from the moon to water balloons thrown at tanks.
Pat also is a tranny chaser who wishes he had Wu's clout, which is pathetic on every level - and I think he's also stupid enough to fall for Wu's fake level of knowledge, even though he's doing the exact same thing. Pat's really quite stupid, after all. Astoundingly fat, though. No 'quite' needed.
