He adopted the dog in January 2009.
A Samoyed puppy, about a year old.
Just like Elliot, the dog was inquisitive, strong-willed, and smart but quiet and sometimes a little shy.
She was also abandoned by her family.

Edit - Also: "I visited Caltech once in the fall to give a round table about women in computer science."

Conclusion: Service dog my ass. So another lie exposed.
Edit 2 - I overlooked this one:
- Didn't see his grandparents for more than 2 and a half years, drops in uninvited and his parents were also present. What a coincidence.
- Grandfather, pretty based, kept calling him 'he'
- The dog he had known since his childhood passed away and his parents didn't inform him about it. I can imagine that's a very hard pill to swallow.
- His mom couldn't come over to say hello because she was on the phone with some tech support in the computer room.
If Elliot was a real women then he would have understand what his mother was trying to say: "Fuck off, Elliot. I never want to see you again. You are a disgrace for the family"
