Ontario does cover some limited expenses for travellers, but they advise getting health insurance. https://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/ohip/outofcountry/ It states the condition should occur while outside Canada and the claimant has to pay Medical expenses upfront (I wonder how many aspirins Canadian dollars will buy in Kuwait). Often claims are knocked back for pre -existing conditions, so if she gets in a health crisis related to anything she's been treated for in the past she might get knocked back. Also their scheme won't include things like medivacs or repatriations in event she is seriously ill and needs to return to canada for further care

Chantal mentioned that her too-tight abaya is a size 60. Hilariously, it appears that 60 is the largest size available on the vast majority of size charts returned by searching "Kuwait abaya size chart". Some do offer that elusive 62, though.

Note that her abaya size is designed for women 5'9", a full seven inches taller than she is.

At over 5'9" myself, that would be the size I'd need just for height alone. As a UK size 12 US 8...clearly another example of how one size fits all doesn't exist. No wonder shorty hefferlump tripped over the hem, and will no doubt continue to do so.

Very likely there have been several women before Chantal that Salad has tried to lure or marry before having to resort to the Gunt Hunt.

The Polish woman might have wanted out of Poland, but Salad needs out of Kuwait. He can’t do shit for any “wife” since he’s a “overstayed” Syrian in Kuwait, and has no money, so I’m sure Ms Poland dropped him fast.

Certain women in Eastern Europe might be open to romance from a Kuwaiti or Saudi because the citizens there have govt subsidized money to burn, but the moment any gold diggers find out Salad is Syrian, they got no interest.

Salad had to stop hunting for semi-attractive women and take the Gunt plunge for his best bet to get out or get $$$.
