I'm a bit puzzled. As from around 2021 Elliot says that Misty was his service dog but I can't find any evidence of it.
Did Elliot's dog suddenly identify as a service dog?
So we know that he adopted a 1y old puppy that was abandoned in 2009. No mention about a service dog.
June 2011 he complains that he, 6 service dog handlers and other allies are not allowed in a restaurant.
"Demanding id. Outrageous!"
Was he trying to get his dog trained to become a service dog? I can't find any further info about training sessions. usually you would expect him to splatter
this allover twitter.

Aug 2016 he tweets: "(I really, really, really struggle with whether I'm disabled enough for Misty to be an ESA or psych support animal. Anxiety comes+goes"
Then he rants a bit about false ESA registry bullshit
ESA = Emotional Support Animal / PSA = Psychiatric Service Animal

So he wonders if he's disabled enough for Misty to become an ESA or psych support animal. Is that how it works? Really?
Sep 2016 he thanks every service dog user he has known that showed him small spaces are possible and easy with an appropriately trained dog.
No mention about Misty being a service dog. Afaik there is no picture of Misty wearing a Service Dog harness.

Edit - I think those are HRT injection marks on his leg.

In 2019 someone mansplained Elliot and it upset him!
Dude probably called him out for being an utter faggot and bullshitter because Elliot claimed his dog was a service dog but didn't need an ESA harness / label
and then probably started to list all his diseases and disabilities

Jan 2021 he's ranting about jerks who falsely claim that their untrained dogs were ESA and now they are blanket banned from airlines.
But not Elliot who's dog doesn't need an ESA harness / label. That's different and if you disagree then you're a transphobe nazi racist who needs to lose his job.
Oct 2021 Misty was his 'psychiatric service dog'

Jan 2022 Complaining again "fake medical exemptions are like fake service dog tags"

Edit 2 - In the above tweet I assume he's talking about himself: "someone with a genuine hearing dog being told that if they are not blind, they couldn't possibly be a service dog user"
So I really think that Elliot wanted to bring his dog wherever he wanted to (train, pub, store, restaurant, library, theater, ...) and whenever he & his dog were denied access
he started to complain and was outraged that people didn't believe it was a support dog without a tag but it was because of all his diseases, disabilities and disorders.
