She was a comedian who kind of got in at the right time in the 90s when "alt comedy" was booming. She also did some improv and even appeared in the show Whose Line is it Anyway? (the American version, and not as a main cast member) which was pretty big in its first run when Drew Carey hosted. A lot of her comedy basically appealed to the Los Angeles wine mom and gay guy (and I mean the types one would refer to as 'fags' not regular gays) crowd; a lot of it is "So I know this famous person and... okay, so I was at an event and this famous person, you know this person... oh my God everybody, let me tell you about this time I was around this famous person from this show..." She's had a few reality shows, most notably My Life on the D-List (if you haven't noticed a theme, she's always wanted to be famous.) If social media had been a thing when Sex and the City was running she probably would've had herself one of those after show things (like The Talking Dead for The Walking Dead) on one of those channels like Bravo or E! or something.

You know the epitome of a bitchy mediocre Twitter post? Kathy Griffin shat those out in front of a microphone at a comedy club before those they/thems and other reprobates could tweet it out on an iPhone. I would sum up her comedic styling as: a want-to-be Joan Rivers, lacking the charisma, wit and self-respect. For a long time she was kind of that annoying woman that would be like your weird neighbour who would want to stop you to tell you some inane story that you don't care about, but now she's like that lonely post-menopausal aunt dealing with the existential crisis of dying alone with a pharmacy's worth of meds in her medicine cabinet who you just hope doesn't bring up the topic of abortion or worming her way into trying to troon out your kid while visiting at Thanksgiving.

Fun little fact: you know the scene in Pulp Fiction where Marsellus Wallace gets run over by Bruce Willis at an intersection? Kathy Griffin is in the crowd and helps him stand up and points out Willis' crashed car to him.

What is more traumatic:
  1. Marriage with a man child that treats you like a accessory to nod at his takes on his podcast and mumble "yeah" once in a while, while he eye rapes any attractive younger women who is invited there
  2. Shooting innocent children or protesters and being under gunfire in Palestine?

Every time I go on Hila's instagram I start to get conscious about my wardrobe choices. She is 34 but dresses and looks like a fucking 60 year old who's trying to look 19 - and failing. Even though I'm not as old as her yet my age is starting to show and to think I might look this retarded really puts the fear of god in me.

I guess that's what you get when your husband - who you have two children with, by the way - is openely and shamelessly thirsting after barely legal e-whores.

So...Ethan is either thirsting over him or Jeffree Star now? She was always trying to be this eccentric weird artist but being in LA hasn't done her any favors. We've come a long way from when the running joke in their fanbase was her being Ethan's tard wrangler.

Not a new take, but I can't help it. It's so bizarre seeing how these two turned out. As someone that used to watch them since the super early days its genuinely shocking. Hila became a meth zombie that dresses like children and Ethan is a rage pig that's definitely going to chop his dick off. They used to be so light hearted and fun loving. I generally don't believe the whole california = bad thing but I can't think of what else could have caused this drastic change. Maybe they were always like this but we couldn't see it through the video editing. Yet another reason why stream-based content is bad. The unedited format and desperation to say anything to fill dead air gives the audience too many insights into your life.
