Omar Sharif was probably considered a national treasure in that part of the world (although, I read somewhere that he was kind of an asshole IRL). And the chances of Chins ever watching a film like Doctor Zhivago or Lawrence of Arabia are less than zero.

I can agree with this.

But if that was her intention, she would have just clarified and said something like "I meant Happy Thanksgiving time" or "week."
Instead she doubled down and said something stupid with "Some people are celebrating today." (WHO??)

It all comes down to Chantal can NEVER admit when she is wrong. About ANYTHING. Even stupid trivial shit like this. And it just makes her look even stupider. One of the many reasons she has almost 7,000 pages here.

Much like saying Merry Christmas throughout the season, we do wish people a Happy Thanksgiving leading up to the actual day.
But, this is Chantal. She got the date wrong. She was never one to spew out happy holidays days ahead of the actual day. She rarely acknowledged them at all.
Those commenting are just as dumb as she is, as there’s no such thing as Thanksgiving Eve.
That crap started on Instagram when ‘influencers’ wanted to extend their brilliant tips & shilling for an extra day.
