I'm not a big history aficionado, but I'm pretty sure nobles begging their half cousins to go to war in their name is one of the oldest things in the Europen continent's history.
Also the idea of ceding land for peace doesn't work when Russia already took land from Ukraine, who didn't react violently. Only to be rewarded with larger invasion. Do you honestly suggest Ukraine giving Russia land will mean they won't invade again in 8 years from a more advantageous position?

Calling it a proxy war is disingenuous as hell, it's not some conflict in a nigger country that people are drafted for corporations to pocket money, this is a conflict they have a direct stake in.
Also don't decide for Ukrainians if they support the conflict or not, especially as the conflict would have been over if one side had no moral.

American AGM-88 HARM missile fired by Ukraine hits residential building in Kramatorsk in September, "missing target," NYT reports

The New York Times ran a story exposing another Ukrainian fake about "Russian shelling" of residential areas. An anonymous US serviceman told the publication that an American AGM-88 HARM missile fired by Ukrainian forces "missed its target" on September 26 and hit an apartment building in Kramatorsk with 3 people injured.

According to the NYT source, the missile was very likely supplied from the Pentagon's old stockpile. He drew such conclusions based on the debris found at the site of the shelling. Noteworthy, on that day the city mayor, Alexander Goncharenko, wrote about the shelling without the usual accusations of Russian aggression.

The same rockets were fired at Kostyantynivka in Zaporizhzhia region on September 17, killing several civilians. Meanwhile, Kyiv continues to deny its failures and blame Russia for them, even when "Western friends" point to Russia's innocence and involvement in the shelling of Ukraine.
