So yesterday Alban Knox appeared in the stream chats of two smaller-corpo vtubers: Yuko Yurei of idolEN and Aletta Sky of Project Kawaii. Some of Yuko's fans were pissed but nothing really came out of it. Project Kawaii, however, is a GFE/unicorn oriented corpo so their fanbase is STILL having a nuclear meltdown over it. There's doxposting and death threats in /pkg/ over CHAT POSTS.

It was probably smart of him to just take the money and run. It’s a shame he’s leaving after catching some moderate flack for discussing previous lives behind the patreon/membership wall, because he obviously fucking loves vtubers. We can’t all be private bastions of free speech I guess.

And when I say “take the money” I mean it. Last night’s stream made him $1100, a small fortune for a Flip.

I came across a German streamer the other day using Nui Sociere's model, however the red parts had been recoloured orange. That was it. Market for models is a little too loose at times with what they think they can get away with.

I almost forgot that Project Kawaii is a unicorn agency, they might even be stricter than Hololive since there is no male counterpart like Holostars for the girls to potentially interact and collab with? Do the Project Kawaii management actually restrict the girls to interact with guys?

I think this is what fascinates me, because unicorns always scream into the void while tossing their wallets at these talents, when said talents, once stream ends, not only fucks their bf/gf but they all interact with each other anyway.

Eh..yes and no. They cropped up during the tail end of the very: "we're idols teehee" phase of vtubing so they captured a decent chunk of unicorns that were slowly dissenting with HL and the whole "wtf they hire girls with bfs?" that upset them, they just have 0 reason (or funding) to expand similarly to Nijisanji and Hololive.

I scanned through her debut and I didn't see her mention what languages she speaks so I'm not sure. Speaking of Westaboo, @Azchan made a short video about it. I missed this from her birthday stream.
