He knows! He's on to us!

Holy crow, he even has his own stress-sigh.

It's like we found a wormhole to an alternate Ruckersville thirty years in the future.
He's like the bastard lovechild of Wilford Brimley & Chris, it's insane.

. . .well, that was fast. Does he even have his own physical parish? Or is his "church" just a congregation on the internet that only exists in his fevered mind?

He doesn't seem to. The general response to his (sadly lost) rambling editorial in a local newspaper was "where is this guy's church, so I can avoid it" (http://archive.li/mh3Ij) (original link is dead).
yeah it's just a facebook church which is why is is very protective of his online reputation.

Religion is one of those things that can take a run of the mill stupid person and elevate them to hypertard level.
Religion is also the most annoying thing to hear about if you do not subscribe to that person's beliefs.

But yea, it's a pretty sad life if all you have is some delusion of grandeur that you're some great prophet and sooper speshul to Godbear. Even more so when you spend most of your time being offending and offending.

He's onto us and he's calling the police, calling everything with his power! He wants this website taken down.
That sound, that familiar sound . . . does he use a fucking dial-up modem?

It took almost the full ten minutes before he gives the reason for his rambling. "You will be cast from heaven.. AND I WANT THAT WEBSITE TAKEN DOWN."

He is an absolute delight.

I'm not sure if he googles his own name or if someone sent him the link to the farms. If it was the second one, I wish they hadn't. I don't want him to turn into another "TAKE THAT OFF THE INTERNET" obsession we've seen so many times. He's funny on his own.

It sounds like they got sucked into a payday loan scam, and once you're into one of those, it's hard to get out if you're on a limited, fixed income. I actually feel sorry for them. A lot of people who aren't very educated get caught up in those and it's sad to watch.
Yeah it sounds like a pretty bad one too. They repossessed his wife because he got behind on the payments.

And just the other day I thought about posting "What if Chris got it into his head that he was a prophet or similar religious figure?" on the What if? -thread...

Frankly, after watching a couple of videos I mainly feel sorry for the guy. He just seems like a confused, simple-minded, sad old man. Though there is definitely a streak of rampant egoism there and I'm pretty that if I went through more of his material enough hypocrisy and viciousness would show up to make me change my mind.

What do you mean, "people who aren't very educated?!" The man has at least seven totally real degrees!

The physical extent of his ministry appears to be these signs tacked to his house trailer:
