It seems like the rest of Tempus want to reassure people both that Vesper will be back and that the three of them are still on good terms with management. Very professional of them, considering the dramas that arose from Cover's previous suspensions, but still makes you think.

IIRC Shiina has talked about having a shotgun and going to a range to shoot handguns but won't say more because "it might get too political". It makes sense for Ame to be one notch more cautious than that.

On that subject, are there any VGuntubers? Kattarina of Idol Corp said she liked guns in her debut but hasn't done any gunsperg content.

How sure are you that it's specifically coleslaw that is the indicator? On a quick search for any KFC in Brunei, a menu for one which ended up being in somewhere called Sengkurong had add-on sides with coleslaw as an option. So I ask the question: What about bread? I didn't expect these responses to my simple "Where's Wemi from?" question, but all I can say is WOW!

Someone in Pippa's chat mentioned her when Malaysia came up yesterday. From watching Wemi's Costco stream, she must be far from Kuala Lampur since there is a Costco there. In that Costco stream, she seems to eat a lot of Indian food, given the large Indian populations there, it would make sense. However, she didn't know what madras lentils were, so who knows.

It'd be interesting to hear if she spoke any Malay. It's just like Indonesian and hearing the Holo-IN girls speak it, it sounds coarse and kinda angry at times with those hard rolling r-sounds, funny to imagine with Wemi. It'd make sense Fishman would want talent from the region too.

I wanted to post this, but I forgot. Magni talking about a back injury he had, and the limitations he will have going forward. While this does bring back memories, considering that Magni is optimistic and he doesn't have another profession (like Sana did), I think Magni is going to continue on.

GFEtubers and unicorns can be alright as long as there is mutual respect and understanding. Unicorns can't let their delusions get the better of them and act like emotionally manipulative assholes just because their favorite entertainer is talking to another person, and the GFEtubers that purposefully make it their brand should try and live up to it whilst not letting their fans push them around and dictate their life and interactions.

In regards to the unicorns getting mad at Aletta recently; I just wanted to say that, whilst I have no problem with people wanting to have their experience be GFE/BFE stuff, I simply can't sympathize when they start chimping out. My feelings on this mostly come down to the belief that the unicorns would gladly cuck each other if given the slightest opportunity, and they would give less than zero thought to the feelings of their fellow obsessed viewers. I do think that if a vtuber is actively using GFE/BFE they should respect their audience enough to not break that illusion. However, simply communicating with another guy/girl is not grounds for sperging out on them. Here's an example using Rushia: If, back when she was still a Holo, she decided to start being flirty with one of the Homos during a stream as her Rushia persona, then I would likely fall on the side of the unicorns. You have given the expectation of a certain experience and are undercutting it, and so I could see how some people could be unhappy and disappointed. You shouldn't call her names or act ugly, but calmly expressing that it's not the kind of thing you want to see should be fine in that specific situation. One of the most surprising things to me was how well the fandeads handled the mafu2 drama. Sure it's scandalous, but they seemed to acknowledge that she didn't mean for her relationship with him to be exposed, and they all just patiently waited for her to return, not knowing she had already been sabotaging herself for months.

In contrast to the overt GFE of Rushia, the EN Holo girls have only ever at most occasionally done 'one off' type of stuff you could consider GFE material, but none of them could ever be considered GFEtubers. That's why I never understood why people could get so up in arms over the StarsEN guys having collabs or conversations with the girls. I always said that I only wanted collabs between people that want to collab, and I don't want them forced together or apart. The idol excuse is made by people who don't know the first thing about that culture, and they don't understand that it's actually a mostly personal decision on whether any given idol will act one way or another (except the ones who aren't strong-willed enough, then they get pushed around by the corrupt apparatus to do whatever they are asked). Kronii caught more flak than the others because she tried to engage with her fans as if she was a GFEtuber, because she somehow came to believe that interacting with the dudes was a big deal even though it was not. I could understand if she was doing GFE stuff beforehand and was trying to convince her simps that it would be ok for her to interact with them without breaking the illusion, but she was just acting like a normal vtuber and had not (to my knowledge) entered into that social contract of a GFEtuber. Yet some of her unicorns acted like she was Rushia or something and that this would be some big change to her content. Lots of delusional folks out there projecting their own feelings onto someone who never shared them.

Fandead handled it better than anyone expected in the end because it became apparent that there wasn't actually anything romantic going on between the two of them. The shitshow was fueled by various external groups and drama addicts jumping into the fray and Rushia poorly attempting to solve the issue herself when Cover management wasn't available for immediate action. Despite the narratives around the situation, her big gachis remain with her to this day.

Even at her lowest point immediately after termination, she went out of her way to connect with her fans behind the scenes and clear things up. She's an unstable person by nature, but she undeniably walked the walk to earn and keep the trust of fans who didn't reflexively write her off after Hololive.

I think the EN side has so many people randomly projecting GFE onto the members precisely because there really isn't a Rushia or Lamy there to act as a lightning rod for that crowd of fans. People wanted a version of HoloJP they could understand without translations, but a lot of the niches from the JP side just never really materialized for HoloEN.

The expectations get even worse when you're dealing with a pseudo-GFE corpo like PK and EN vtuber fans don't feel like they have anywhere else to turn for that kind of content. It's a powerful bait for schizos.

Whiskey Project recently did a Cursed Gun review stream with a guy and a G*rman. She seems to know and have Opinions about guns. I'm not sure to what extent her friends and fellow Tarkov streamers Sleepy and Rye were about IRL guns as opposed to video games ones (and Rye has reincarnated as a corpo).
