It's not 2016. Trump isn't only being called Supa Hitla. He's being handcuffed to total freaks and nutty losers. This is after some of these freaks spent half of 2020 convincing his base there were secret shootouts in Germany over election servers and how Q would magically appear at January's inauguration to take control of the military and save us all.

Aside from Qboomers and because of J6, I think Trump's base is torn about him and many want him to go away quietly. His sane supporters have been put through the proverbial ringer of bullshit and con-artistry. They want someone to do something other than tweet. They don't want freaks or losers.

I'm not convinced, given everyone involved, this isn't an indirect attempt to make DeSantis look like a reasonable and effective populist and pull everyone back into Con Inc. The Mercers' disavow of Milo was weak and convenient. They've also switched to bankrolling DeSantis. Despite DeSantis being a neocon who lies out his ass about everything, the normie grassroots will never look under hood (until it's too late).
