Rapp was almost certainly employed in an at-will state, which means they could fire her for no reason at all.

There are a small number of things they can't fire her for, but they can fire for no reason.

Was she holding other employment, an actual job, or was legalizing loli just a hobby?

Apparently Nintendo had issues with her from the beginning in regards to her using her platform as PR to talk about rape culture on twitter. It seems like Nintendo didn't pay too much attention to her beyond that but was aware she had certain stances that should have remained entirely separate from her job. She got a second job but won't say what it is because she said it wouldn't look good for her or Nintendo. The assumption is it was more than modeling since she freely shared professionally shot photos of herself posing in underwear (possibly linked to her second job). So people are assuming camgirl or escort. Nintendo didn't comb through her twitter feed until people brought up her thesis and eventually an anon made them aware of her second job.

None of this was known until hours after people like Wu jumped at the chance to condemn Nintendo and Jamie Walton. Many of them are eating crow because of it or are doubling down.

Even if she wasn't in an at-will state, Nintendo had more than enough to fire her. Like other organizations, it wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo had a morality clause in their employee contracts. Basically, something in there telling employees to not take actions as a representative of Nintendo that Nintendo would not approve of. Allison clearly advertised herself as a representative of the company on her personal Twitter profile and often conducted business through it. While she is free to have whatever opinions she wants on her own (as disgusting as some may be), she can't voice those same stances on a platform she uses for her company where it could be seen as a stance shared by Nintendo. This isn't even getting into the issues with her using the same Twitter handle she sends out Nintendo news from to advertise her risque photo shoots. In short, she was a shitty PR representative who got fired for doing a shitty job. End of story.

Now, back to Brianna. The "PLEASE RT" part of that insider scoop reeks of desperation. Maybe she can use this as the new excuse on why Rev60 isn't coming out for another month or two?

So I'll share it here, too.

According to a contact of mine who's been reliable with Wu in the past, and indeed, several other anons on Reddit and elsewhere, it's worse than just the stuff we know about with the side porn-business, pedo apologia, and Rape Culture discussions. No, according to these Anons, Rapp was responsible for constantly leaking information and data to certain parties who may or may not be shrieking about how this whole thing is Gamergate's fault.

These are allegations, not facts, but if true, this explains so fucking much. I'll see if I can dig anything up.

Called it! @KidKitty owes me a dollar.
That's the triangle count, actually on average each of the Bratz dolls has 10410 polys more or less, the highest poly count belonging to Valentina/Unknown with 11081 and the lowest to Crimson 09 with 9587.

The funny thing is, the soldiers actually have half of the polycount that the main characters do, and a lot of assets are repeated on the internal files (most notably being Amelia and Crimson 09 on different clothing), and the main characters usually have texture sizes of 2048x2048 each.

There's one thing that really puzzles me about all of this.

Alison Rapp is now unemployed -- despite Nintendo's statement to the contrary -- because she wrote a paper and made a presentation in which she lectures the entire Japanese nation on what its laws should be in regard to child pornography. Specifically, she thinks that child porn is great and that everyone should enjoy it.

So, a well-off, white, American imperialist woman is dictating to an entire Asian population what their child-pornography laws should be.

And rich, white, American male Flynt/Wu, a fully fledged Social Justice Warrior, backs her to the hilt.

Shouldn't he be screaming, "Check your damned privilege, bitch!"?

What am I missing?

Something's got Wu all worked up of late. She is trying so hard to be a part of the "controversy" going on right now and, before this, she's been talking about Rev60 a lot more than usual.

The clock is ticking and he talked about Revolution 60, something he hates to do, this drama is the perfect excuse to delay AGAIN the game

If John did the things he should and not what he chooses to do instead, we wouldn't be talking about him right now.

He'd of also released the game by this point.

Rapp is "pure" in this circle because she was somewhat in a position of power and helped to further the narrative. Transgressions like that are being overlooked because calling attention to it will be like biting themselves in the ass and they'll lose someone they see as a useful ally. If it was some random person the SJWs would tear them apart for saying such things, but not Rapp.

Wu wants to be part of the controversy, but she has to be controversial for the right reasons, and that means going with the flow of the SJW crowd. It doesn't matter that she's endorsing white privilege and the legalization of child rape in the process. Brianna's bet all her chips on SJWs vaulting her to stardom so she has to placate them despite their hypocritical nature.

Welp, since i had nothing better to do, i've managed to extract some character models from the iOS version of Revolution 60, the models are on the PSK format so if you want to use them on something else (ie. SFM) you'll have to convert them manually.

Maybe in the future i'll convert them to SFM/GMOD.
ModelsResource, here we come!

I work for a pretty big company, but the only instruction I've ever gotten regarding talking to the media is to NOT talk to them, but also refer them to an acceptably high-level corporate turd.

On another note, I subscribed to Isometric on my podcast app, and I'd be happy to post choice quotes/paraphrases as much as my blood pressure allows. So...

I was listening to an old episode, and Brianna was talking about Until Dawn, said something along the lines of "If you liked Revolution 60, that's the kind of game Until Dawn is, just with a bigger budget." Didn't she bitch about this game on twitter?

It's late, so time for a cigarette and some armchair psychoanalysis.

Beyond ordinary Social Justice Walking in lockstep, I suspect Wu is taking this a bit personally. It's fairly obvious that Wu absolutely loathes Ms. Walton. She's an actual woman who is doing actual laudable things with her life, so there is some jealousy there. But it goes deeper than that. Jaime Walton is one of a select group of people who has called Wu an idiot to her face, and done so with impunity, because they're more important than Wu is. Like with Total Biscuit or Milo, she is never going to let that shit go.

"She's a nobody," Wu assures her Twitter followers (and herself) as Ms. Walton goes through, y'know, normal and official ways of voicing her complaints. "If she was important, she'd backchannel."

[Extra side note: Shaking your fists and loudly proclaiming you are NOT buying a Wii-U after all is not backchanneling. I checked.]

In Wu's bubbling, tortured brain, Nintendo fired Ms. Rapp entirely on Jamie Walton's say-so. Since everyone expected Nintendo to just be usual inscrutable Nintendo and not say anything, she was free to think that. But even after they released a statement saying why they did fire Rapp, it must be LIES. (They were free to not say anything, but to specifically say why she was fired and to lie about is probably legally actionable).

That's why Wu is doubling down so very hard on this. A person she hates has been outright proven to be more influential than her. And all the tweeting at Nintendo in the world isn't going to change that.

I'd caution Ms. Walton about making such a powerful nemesis, but then the chortles take me.

Although he mostly praised the game, Flynt/Wu, with his patented lack of awareness of irony and hypocrisy, did have this to say:
_______________________________

Brianna Wu‏@Spacekatgal
Until Dawn’s lone black character:
1. Is ordered to fetch and carry bags
2. Barely in game
3. Main function is escorting women to safety
_______________________________

As we all know, characters of all races, ethnicities, and sexes are treated equally in the Utopian nothing-but-white-women future that is Rev 60.

Okay, can confirm for sure I won't be around for most of tomorrow, so before then, just leaving this series of retweets:

Nintendo Was Right.jpg

Basically, this dumbass defied her employer to use her position to spread SJW bullshit and do her own thing regardless of her contract and employment conditions, she paid for her transgressions, is doubling down on it, and Brianna Wu is retweeting her retardation like we should applaud it.

This is just an even more flagrantly retarded version of the idiot who trashed her employer, Yelp, online and amazingly got fired and somehow this is a cause.

What the fuck is the major malfunction with utter imbeciles who don't know that if you do PR for a company, you are on the job 24/7 and if you're tweeting out pro kiddy porn shit from the same account you do your PR work from, you're going to get fired!

Scream about gammergrope all you like, some angry parent would have reported it, assuming that isn't exactly what happened.

I'd be surprised if they actually did this because of a bunch of Homer-tier GG autism and if there weren't other entirely respectable people like Jamie Walton who reported it too.

It seems to be a habit of Wu's; buying the latest games and then praising them a great deal, essentially regurgitating what reviews say because most of the time he doesn't actually seem to play them.

Then, in a fortnight's time, he will flipflop in response to the normal Twitter whingebags throwing a tantrum about some horrendous transgression the game apparently commits.

I noticed that Wu didn't retweet any of Alison's stuff that actually made it obvious she was fucking up her own career. Wu specifically didn't retweet this because it spits in the face of what Wu has been claiming.

I support everything you have to say except for the part where you say this isn't part of a conspiracy against women.

It's like Brianna has a sanity filter. As soon as she hears or reads something reasonable and logical, it just becomes gobbledegook and white noise.
