I'll be damned. I tried the glitch, having done it before on my Red cartridge (so I knew what I was doing) and it didn't work.
 
Another fun glitch you guys might enjoy is the Ditto Glitch. It uses the same mechanics as the Mew Glitch and you can use it to catch any* Pokemon in the game.
Here's the list of Special numbers and what Pokemom they'll get you. Not sure if there are any differences between Red/Blue and Yellow.
*I don't think it's possible for a Pokemon to have a Special stat lower than 5 in Gen I, so the last four may not be obtainable with this glitch

I'm surprised they've still got Pokeymanz to make at this point. Don't they usually just slap a lizard and a pack of cigarettes together and call it good? That being said, I'm pretty stoked for Sun/Moon. The idea that it's the seventh generation is wild.
 
Does anyone have a hidden ability Hoppip (Infiltrator) they'd be willing to trade? It doesn't have to be anything special.

If you're willing to give me a little bit tonight, I could breed you out one with good egg moves and optimal IVs. Would you like a nickname or EV training as well?

At the risk of invoking a number of autistic/powerlevel ratings, other people can make requests too, as I spent a ton of time these last few gens getting a living dex together. So I'm cool breeding/training/trading stuff for other people too.

Thank you! You don't have to breed for best IV's or anything unless you're feeling up to it. Is there anything specific you'd like in return?

Nah, no worries at all, I'm cool with anything. I actually was lucky and was mystery gifted a japanese Skiploom with 5 perfect IV's so this was a cinch. Just finishing EV training your Hoppip now, and it caught pokerus from my Volcarona so you've got that too. Its female, did you want me to give it a nickname?

Happy to help, Jumpluff is awesome. Gotta love that super fast Sleep Powder. And it really was no problem, I actually find breeding and training pokemon to be pretty fun. It's really satisfying when you finish, and the breeding mechanics 6th gen introduced combined with the improved methods for EV training means that its never been easier to get perfect competitive pokemon raised up.

Thanks for the Noibat (even though its in a hacked ball, haha), one of my favorite 6th gen pokemon so that was a nice choice on your part.

Was it? It was a wondertrade but I never look at the pokeballs so I guess it just slipped by me.

I find breeding fun too, I'm not the most patient person so sometimes it's an uphill battle, but it's worth it.

Edit: @Spellskite, it didn't seem like you were calling me out, it's all good, I was just confused.

I may be mistaken, but Moon Balls were exclusive to pokemon available in the 4th gen (what with only being available in Heart Gold and Soul Silver), so I don't believe it is possible to have a 6th generation pokemon like Noibat in one. And hey, no worries, it looks awesome and it really doesnt matter since I won't be using it in any tournaments.

edit: Didn't mean to make it seem like I was calling you out; I figured you got it from a trade or something due to the original trainer name.
