Why the hell does a promo picture from I Am Jazz just push the main character off to the side and focus on whichever family member that is? (the only ones I can actually identify/care about are Jazz, the mom, and Sander)

If that's 2019, that's a lot of weight-gain for Jazz in just 3 years (or more like 2 if the weight-loss thing start a year ago?). Whatever the circumstance, that's never an indicator of good times/mental state, and never fun, especially being filmed and photographed and published all the time.

It's around January 2019. The infamous scar pic is from Jan. 2020:
IICR, this is the previous to latest season, when he had been accepted to Harvard, and had that mental breakdown writing his speech.
This is 2021, around middle of the year. So, he gained all that weight in about 18 months. Ironically, he does look like he's twice pregnant.

I was just going to posit that lardassery is probably more common in troons than not.
The video above which looks like it's filmed in the greater Harvard area, it's hard to tell who is a troon and who is a porky "ally."
Are a lot of college kids fat now? When I went to school 100 years ago, there were a few girls who were on the curvy side and a few dadbod boys, but almost nobody flabby like that.
Even though the freshman 15 is a thing, walking a mile or two a day keeps the pounds off, or at least it did for me.
