The 90 Day Fiance Thread - We only needed this thread made 5 years ago...

The first few episodes of her season seemed to convey the narrative that she had catfished Caleb about her height, but when it became apparent that that was not the case and Caleb was just being a dick, I switched over to her side quick.

Despite their relationship not working out and Alina basically getting them both kicked off the show, he helped her get out of Russia when the war started - so I can't HATE Caleb either though.
My theory is at some point during their friendship Alina was moping about not being able to find a boyfriend and Caleb tried to cheer her up by saying he'd date her (hypothetically) and then one thing lead to another and he was in too deep to reject her without looking like a piece of shit.

Also Caleb's arms were too short for his body.

why they bothered having tiffany on the show when it comes off she might get back with ronald after that one failed date with that hairstylist.
The producers are interested in highlighting the drama and tension between Ron and Tiffany that comes from co-parenting their daughter while being an ocean apart.

that’s true, you can never forget there’s quality milk in that.

speaking of milk has anyone attempted to watch the UK or caribbean spin off series?

I haven't watched the UK one yet but as a dedicated Caribbeaboo, I have seen Love in Paradise and follow Sherlon & Ariyanna's drama.

Slight powerlevel, but Sherlon reminds me of an ex, I can't hide my bias against him and think he's ridiculous. But Ariyanna was also stupid to expect ANYTHING of him or for him to be a "family man" considering the circumstances they met under.

But the whole thing with Sherlon DEMANDING the kid having his last name and him being on the birth certificate, only to not want to have to do anything with the kid? Jamaican men get this stereotype of being deadbeat partners and dads, and he lives up to it.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Mohammed and Danielle. I don't think it could have been more clear he was just using her to gain citizenship and she was literraly a mid 70's IQ woman who kept falling for his shit over and over. Classic TV couple right there.

I just remembered Mike and Ximena, Mike was such a fucking pig and Ximena can't even speak English. He took advantage of her every step of the way and I'm so glad she's free of him now. She was trashy too, but he was VILE.

I remember Mike and Ximena. Isn't Mike a special needs person, and uses his special needs status as an excuse to be a bad mannered man child? Of course Ximena isn't perfect either, but she still deserves better than a gross, whiny, pushy, man child.

I swear, untreated mental disabilities and the sin of lust are a dangerous mix indeed.

i've been watching both before and 90 day uk and the troons in both are so funny and over the top dramatic.

True to reality TV, they focus mostly on the weirdos.

International dating is shockingly common these days - say hi to the feminist panic over "passport bros" - and largely not so dramatic.

I know the Mail Order Bride websites have advertised to members of the military for decades, and given the military's already large "American dude, foreign war bride" numbers, a lot are successful.

Had a fellow Marine from one of my units meet and marry a girl from Ukraine. Pretty blonde girl who couldn't have been an inch over five feet or weigh 100 pounds soaking wet. We teased him a little, but they're still together a decade later, which not a lot of other married guys from the unit can claim.

Last time I talked with him, they run a buisiness hunting bail jumpers together, and thier fourth kid is on the way.

THAT is a show I'd watch.

There are actually two threads on 90 Day Fiance. Both are 2 pages long, so they never gained traction. Here's a link to the more recent one.

I used to religiously watch 90 day fiance as I found it pretty captivating but as time went on it got more fake and a lot of the couples would get on the show for clout and ultimately end their relationship after a season would end. Also it doesn't help that there are so many spin offs so it's hard to keep up! I only watch recaps on youtube to keep me in the loop.

Oh also there is a spin off show called 90 day fiance: the other way where Americans would go to other countries to live with their lovers and I thought that Chantal would be a perfect addition but the issue is that she's Canadian and also she isn't permanently living in Kuwait, I think. It would be interesting to see how she would fare on a reality show and how she would be viewed in the 90 day fan community 🤣
