Honestly, I'm kind of surprised she wasn't pulled into HR and given some sort of speech to the effect of "What the fuck were you thinking? That kind of thing is completely inappropriate for a publicly facing employee of Nintendo. You are obviously fired. Now, if you go quietly and don't cause a fuss, we'll attribute your termination to something relatively minor like moonlighting without approval so we can save face and you have a chance of getting a job somewhere else."

Or maybe she was, and doesn't completely comprehend "not causing a fuss"

To be fair, she started out with that but it went out the window when she realized how much attention she was getting. She should've just left it as a goodbye and thanked her coworkers before noting that she's starting a new phase of her life... Which won't happen unless she gets hired by a " radical" friendly company.

(When did radical mean pedo defending?)

I'll guarantee that did happen and I'll also guarantee she got some kind of severance money. She would have signed an agreement to keep any severance payment confidential and they would have agreed to not give her a negative reference.

She's totally shooting herself in the foot here in terms of "name" companies, and some trendy start-up which doesn't care about image is unlikely to pay well.

It's unlikely her termination agreement would include not taking action against her if she has been leaking corporate information, though. If she's been doing that, she's stupid if she thinks Nintendo has already done the worst they can do.

Remember that by her own admission they had been asking her not to publicly discuss stuff which could reflect badly on Nintendo since soon after she started there. They likely have over 2 years of documented warnings if she wants to continue claiming it's because she's a wymyns.
