Happy early Thanksgiving everyone 😁

Anyway, not sure if anyone missed it, but popular rap star Lil Durk reportedly had his GTA Online account suspended for allegedly selling crypto and NFT‘s to his online friends, while also farming servers in the process

For those unaware, this was an actual thing that Rockstar Games started doing after the GTA V source code was leaked by a hacker:

To my knowledge, this is the first time an entertainer (a famous mainstream rapper, no less) was the first to have his account suspended even when he started his gaming server back in August of 2020. Here’s the trailer for what him and his record label did, and it was reportedly popular in the GTA Online-sphere:

This means that Rockstar acknowledged how popular unofficial RP modes are(possibly more popular than GTA Online)
It's safe to assume Rockstar will try to monitize this idea in next installment of GTA franchise no matter what

Rockstar can make more effort licensing music for their games, but as with any company (not just music or game companies), they can also turn around to monetize anyone.

I say they will try to make GTA online 2 more "realistic" to appeal to the RP crowd, i doubt they will make a whole RP mode though

Who here actually played the original GTA (or GTA2)? That is one of those games that people love to pretend they played.
No fair, I play a lot of OG GTA I and II and enjoyed them, and this is coming from myself who still loves the likes of Vice City.

Had them both on Gameboy and had GTA 2 on PS1. I remember being a kid and seeing the commercials for GTA 3 and it being 3D and begging my dad to get it.

For what it was, GTA 2 had an amazing soundtrack.

lets be honest
a new manhunt game would be gimped to shit
With all the retarded shit people do online to get fame (niggers in particular) you'd think a new manhunt would be prime real estate.

Make it some retarded zoomer live streaming various crimes for his followers or something. It seems so easy and free, but damn.

The first Manhunt had internal backlash due to its strong, sadistic subject matter. R* instructed a scary game without supernatural elements. Nothing is scarier than a serial killer amidst a town of rejects, racists and gangbangers.

No way a game like Manhunt would be suitable in today's age, censored or not.
