As with most fighting games since SF Third Strike (and maybe before), getting good requires extended periods of practicing combos and techniques in training mode ad nasuem until it's muscle memory. That is why every home version of a game is sure to have a training mode, even his precious SF2. Jaha said as much on a ThatBeingSaid podcast interview, so you don't have to take my word for it. SF6 is most likely to follow this formula, as I saw the drunken master guy had some complex chains of moves.
Pig is not going to do this training. He's going to use his little pokes and footsies, cheap lag abusing tick-throws, and any other short cuts he can to eek out wins against scrubs or people suppressed by a bad connection (which might be Pig's, he won't show it so we will never know). He's also going to be tipsy if not drunk. I'm getting my fries ready, the salt is on the way. This game will be like every other game since super turbo: he's not going to learn how to play it properly and rage when things don't go his way.
It is crazy that he has a nice console, TV, stick, and his own little private space to hone his craft that he does professionally, but he'd rather play WWEC and scroll the boomer wasteland that is twitter than use it. Just goes to show that the purpose of that room is 100% to collect money from dents, and it has zero to do with passion or hobby interest.
