I would dig in hours to see if there was any mention of Shammy on the podcasts, but I'm currently busy with life stuff. I am quite interested in this, since a lot of the co-hosts in that podcast are microcelebrities I've been interested in for a long time (namely brendaniel and recently noodle). Shammy included, his videos are very nicely made reviews and has gotten me interested in some I would have never glanced on, especially project stamina, which seeks to revive Gigantic into a new IP.

pretty much nothing of note besides David being David. Someone that is not David needed to be in charge of the new DnD but space show they want to do. I will be real, all you need to play and record DnD is several people willing to play DnD, a full bespoke soundtrack not only isnt necessary, but I honestly believe is the single thing between that show and release. I care a lot more than I should, web series' turning to vaporware is a tale as old as time, but the fact that an actual design group who made a scifi module for DnD 5e got roped into being part of that show in terms of marketing and all that means that now David now has a responsibility beyond himself. I doubt there was an actual deal signed between anybody, but morally you can't just use a company's product to promote your DnD show, buy a bunch of shit for that show using giveaway copies of that product to raise the money, and just not make the show.

Even with a Module, DnD 5th edition is a fucking horrible system to run a Sci-Fi campaign. The only time i've seen it turn out alright is when someone Homebrews a port of Spelljammer, and even then it's rough. I wonder which member of the cast was too much of a pussy to learn a new system, there are loads of either universal or purpose built systems that are on a similar level of complexity, I don't understand the sticking with 5e.
 
Shammy also picked a horrible time to go tranny grifter. The economy spiraling out of control and the impending totally not a recession recession is going to serve as a harsh wakeup call to all these micro eceleb losers who have spent their adult lives getting money flung at them for lukewarm takes about whatever the latest From Software game is. Pretty soon people won't want to give money to the owl man to turn into a gross owl lady because food and warmth is more important.

So, I think his 41 percent will probably happen within the next year/year and a half.

He already struggles as is, to the point he knew he'd get shit if he kept up with monthly tugboats for no content, so he swapped it to a one video a month system, and even then that's not definitive, seeing as it's been three months since he dropped an Elden Ring sametake review. We are watching a slow and steady spiral torwards nothing a la Narcissa. Meanwhile, David's proven his fetish does cause harm as he's dealing with fatty liver disease, and likely has even less time then Avery with treatment.

God, i hate the way his voice sounds post-troon juice, one of the reasons I even liked his videos was that his voice was pleasing to listen to and made for some good background noise, but it just sounds off now, it sounds like he just pitched it up in post (wouldn't be surprised.)
It honestly makes me want to not bother with the video at all.

It's subtle enough to ignore, but I don't see a point to watching his reviews if his past colleague has made and conntinues to make better reviews that aren't word salads to begin with. So if not for the voice, it's certainly not worth watching if he's just exhausting his gibberish that's more eloquently said elsewhere.

And Stray? Really? Barely worth hearing this info from him when you can get it from several more youtubers or better yet, playing the game, if you're looking for a entertaining or even informative angle on it.
