She's an enormous liability to any company, large or small, that decides to hire her. Thus, they won't. This actually lasted a few months as far as I have read, then someone pointed out how she had her thesis on her Linkedin, and the tweets were found after that. The resultant shitstorm obviously attracted a lot of attention from Nintendo who apparently hadn't been looking at what their PR person was putting on their twitter account. Or didn't care.

Against her in general? Before march, I hadn't even heard about her in any gamergate-related drama, she isn't any of the main crusade against gamergate in the same way that Wu or Quinn were, so I doubt any sperging made her fear for her life, it's the usual exaggeration of everything related to gaming.
