I understand that this is not an easy decision, nor one that should be made lightly.
*sighs* My suggestions would be to make a pros and cons list. Write down every single con, every single fear you have about this process. *deep breath* And then, uh, pros list. Put out all your dreams, what do you want your life to look at, look like. Put it on paper, so you can see it. Don't let it sit and run around free in your mind because that's just gonna make it worse.
Not everybody has bad experiences with Job Corps. Apparently your girlfriend [sic] did have a good experience and that's great. I'm glad she had a wonderful experience. See, there are good things like the trips they take you on [ding ding ding]. They take you to see the movies, and they take you to play putt putt and bowling and sometimes. *sputters* The place I was at, because we were so close to the Orpheum Theater in Memphis, they took us to see the ballet and they took us to see an opera. I mean, those were wonderful life core memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life!
*long pause* *deep breath* I will also give the suggestion that it is something that you don't want to go forward with, *deep breath* look into GED courses or high school classes, if that's what you need. Or even look into trade classes locally. A lot of times those classes are free to you, just like they are at Job Corps. I know here in Alabama, very close to us, the, um, the community college has those trade classes for free. So that is an option. Now if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have.
*deep sigh* I don't want you to be discouraged! And I really hope this video helps you make your decision! Alright, now!
