You're supposed to block whatever you can, it's Chinese after all. I can't say about PC, but on mobile, you just press the button shown below on the site twice, upload the image, & see the result.

Finished up Season 3 of Takagi San:

There's something oddly beautiful about this series to me. Even though it has sort of a repetitive format where Nishikata keeps challenging Takagi to a contest and inevitably loses, it somehow doesn't seem to get stale for me. Probably because in between those segments there's actual sweet moments where both allow themselves to be vulnerable to each other. The episode where Takagi felt sad over Nishikata getting chocolates from other girls and even admitted to that to him at the shrine they like to go to is a very good example of this. The development between the two is very slow, but gradual.

Easily my favorite part of this season was the ending of the play where Nishikata and Takagi had to improv their way out and indirectly expressed desire for each other. Little dude was a badass there.

I also like seeing little cameos of Sanai's (I think that was her name) older sister. Especially knowing what happens to her in the manga.

Gonna watch the movie after work and give my thoughts on it later.

Watched the Takagi San movie:

Absolutely butchered subtitles aside, I really enjoyed it. It was amazing seeing Nishikata and Takagi really open up and bond over Hana. The scene where Nishikata consoles Takagi over Hana being taken by those two kids and telling her he will be the one to make her happy was pretty powerful. I honestly never would have expected that would be how he would "confess" to her. Although in retrospect, the entire series has shown that some people don't necessarily have to say those three little words or hug and kiss to be able to express their love to each other. (Not openly at least) It manages to capture young love in a way that feels innocent and pure and that's how I fell in love with this series to begin with.

And of course, the epilogue with Chi was great. Such a satisfying way to cap off the series after following it for four years.

If you haven't watched the series yet, definitely give it a try. To some people, it might be an acquired taste, but the entire experience is fantastic in my eyes. Would recommend the anime over the manga personally, as there is a flow and chronological order to it that the manga doesn't really have.

I didn't think it would be this good. I expected something more... fake, less natural, too saccharine, but it struck the right balance since it's a bit mean spirited and realistic at times. The girls aren't that close, they all have their personal lives, not everything gets solved in a fell swoop. When Ryo helps Bocchi with the lyrics you feel that they had an intimate moment together but then the show makes you realize Ryo is also a selfish dumbass. Of course it's still moving towards the characters improving themselves but it's more satisfying and convincing when they do in a world that doesn't feel too artificial.

Everyone praise the visuals (for good reason) but I think the seiyuu do a great job as well.

I really like Boochis laugh when she's nervous. and yeah, unlike say HitoriBocchi no Marumaruseikatsu, the world here is presented more realistic. When you're a new band nobody really cares about you and you're just there to keep the first guess entertained. Your bandmates are friends but you probably have closer friends. Social anxiety isn't easily fixed and they tend to shut off when their put in alien situations. Overall it's the most realistic show about an autist since Watamote

I had to look up who's doing Bocchi because she sounds so much like Tomoko, but to my surprise, it's one of the Wake Up, Girls, Yoppi.

It's interesting that even Nijika is a bit of an introvert. She really is the most normal among them, not normie enough to be popular like Kita, not autistic like the other two. Just common sense and title drops.
It was nice of Kita to carry the group in the latest episode as well. You can tell her life is busy so she doesn't care all that much about the group, but once she found a moment to share with them she really went all out and would have stayed longer if the others were up for it and not homebodies.
Also she was right about taking the stairs.

The ending playing after the pictures reveal was genius. I was sold when I saw this.

I am watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes for the first time, and Jesus Christ, this show is fucking excellent.

Political intrigue, interesting characters, good plotting, great use of classical music for the soundtrack.

There's a bit of over the topness with some characters, but it can be forgiven.

It's Game of Thrones, but good and without the incest.
