Thailand's economy hinges on tourism and therefore they have catered to tourists food wise and in many different ways. You can find all the americanized crappy food you want there, they even have an version of fried rice they call "American rice" which is rice with ketchup and hot dog, it's disgusting. But you can find pretty much the big American chain restaurants in Thailand. Kuwait is tougher for the average westerner than Thailand.

I think she means she is not going back to Canada TO sit in her room and eat herself to death in front of a camera. Unfortunately, we have seen plenty of nonverbal language and subtle behaviors that indicate otherwise.

Most people think he is scamming her in order to obtain Canadian citizenship. If that's true and she's not going back to Canada, then he definitely doesn't want to stay with her in Thailand, Kuwait, or anywhere else.

This is getting interesting. What the hell is Chantal so desperate to escape/avoid in Canada? Her perfect BPD solution is to run away.... and keep running? Problem is she 400 lbs, has bad credit, limited income and a romance scam refugee partner without a valid passport. (Thailand requires Syrians with a valid passport to apply for a tourist visa.) Her running away is going to make whatever is brewing back in Canada all far, far worse in the end.
