The spirit of Demon Magi-Chan

Just listened to the super cut and it sounds like cancer is the least of his problems so who knows; maybe the doctors will throw the kitchen sink at daddy gym and something will stick

I'm kinda hoping for a Yul Brynner-style "I'm dead now and Ralph, you're still a giant fucking pussy. Buy a hat." post-mortem video courtesy of KillAllPedos once Jim succumbs to the canceraids.
If he doesn't have a final "release upon death" video and hasn't delegated KAP or someone like that to drop it at that time, I'll be surprised. Even more surprised if it's completely serious and doesn't take the piss out of himself one last time.

Speaking of archives, wasn't there a Google Drive folder of his videos (I remember it because it had the Bulbapedia video)? I believe I had it bookmarked, but it was on the old laptop that barely works anymore.
I was looking for that too, and found this Archive.org link which appears to have pretty much all (or most) his stuff, at least up to Feb 2022:

I think the Bulbapedia one is #287 on the list. ;)

Since people are being typically hyperbolic about the cancerAIDS, and more people are reacting to just that, he does go into a bit more detail as superchats start reacting to the news.

He does have a fatalistic tone about it, but it much less "I have two months to live"and much more "Having the energy to talk for 2-3 hours straight is getting harder and harder." That coupled with the fact that the doctors are finally going to try something for the autoimmune (of which I'm never sure if people are referring to the cancer as a meme or don't actually know the problem is an autoimmune mystery and the cancer is relatively minor) besides Prednisone, and both treatments they are considering are very rough and make his ability to stream worse.

TL: DR - Jim's not on his last breathe, but he is doing worse, and it's about to start a treatment that'll likely make him even less capable of streaming.

I listened to the supercut of jim's health problems & knew a little bit about it, thought I would share. He brought up jak2 (janus kinase 2) testing. I don't know if they are doing it because they are grasping at straws or not though. mostly it is myelofibrosis patients getting tested for jak2. The bone marrow cavity gets filled w/scar and so there is no where for your blood cells to form, the normal pathway is for stem cells to hang out there and mature into red cells (the same stem cells also form platelets and white cells). There are disorders that have different symptoms than that which eventually do turn into myelofibrosis. If this is the case the doctors may not have explained that it is also considered a cancer? Or he may have something else completely and the doctors are testing for this mutation because they literally don't know what else to do. It stands to reason that there is some kind of blood related problem occurring to think of jak2 at all.

The JAK2 enzyme is hard at work in the stem cells in our bone marrow. Also known as hematopoietic stem cells, these cells are responsible for creating new blood cells.

The last interesting thing I read about hematopoietic stem cells was a study of what happens to them in the umbilical cords of women who get injected with covid vaccines, and it was a fucked up read. something happened to wipe out the stem cells & they didn't recover, which I have never heard of happening in umbillical cord blood.

I also wonder if pfizer shaved some years off of jims life like they clearly did w this doctor:

the tl;dr is the doctor has lymph node cancer, mostly on one side of his body where he got vaccinated previously. He was preparing for cancer treatment and figured he should get his booster in beforehand since he would be unable to do so once the chemotherapy started. He gets boosted on the other arm. He gets the imaging of the cancer again and now the cancer is much more aggressive, but on the side where he got the most recent shot. There are pictures of both scans in the article if you like that kind of shit. the article goes through some serious pains to try to avoid the obvious conclusion of what happened w/dr goldman's lymphoma. This is the opposite of isolated, an inordinate number of people are getting rare and aggressive cancers. If I am right this will only get worse and be undeniable a year from now.

I am very sad for jim and will miss his streams.

Everyone seems to genuinely think ethan ralph would do something tasteless in response to jim dying, but I very much doubt that. His posture is 100% like a teenager angry w a parent. Ethan ralph will get extremely depressed when jim dies, and will deny why he is upset, I expect him to drink more excessively than usual. If you have ever met someone who has serious problems with one of their own parents, you know what I am talking about. You expect them to be glad when the parent dies but instead they get really fucked up over it and regret not being able to patch things up, but they also don't have any easy way of discussing this outside of a therapists office since they spent hours and hours talking so much shit about the person, perhaps even specifically saying how much they look forward to their death. Grief is a process of re-configuring your world without a piece that you considered essential. Jim is a huge part of ethan ralph's mental landscape even if it is strictly as some kind of enemy, there will be a weird time where he is more confused than usual about his feelings.

Doesn't help that he's been pushing himself to do weekly again for a while now. If he goes back to monthly after a month or two's break it might become manageable, especially if they figure out an effective treatment which it sounds like they're closing somewhat in on.

The Saturday streams were more of a maybe continuing on. He still seemed to think they might end too but he left it as a "we'll see" instead of the definite end too the monthly recaps.

I think he enjoys shooting the shit with chat, falling down rabbit holes like Mobility Mary or Moon Crickets, with out all the prep of the monthly streams. They are the closest to the old stream.me days where he got great stuff like Photon.

Galaxy brain compromise if he improves enough: monthly shoot-the-shit streams. Best of both worlds. Mobility Mary-type stuff obviously lifts his spirits much more than the recaps do. Jim hates obligations and that's what the YOTC streams quickly turned into.

Give him a couple of hours once or maybe twice a month to go down weird rabbit holes and talk to chat, all unplanned, and he'll be happier than a pig in shit.

Maybe I’m just 🌈, but I feel like he has a few more years in him. (Not making videos necessarily, but, you know, being alive.) The emotional pain of cancer & other fatal illnesses is you’re better one day, then worse, then miraculously cured, then dead, within a week period.

But Jim will be fine. He has Potato Jesus to protect him. 🥔 ✝️
"Mo-o-o-o-n crickets, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style (buy my hats) someday"

This. Very, very much this.

Ralph lives for Jim talking about him in whatever way, positively or negatively. Jim's laughing at him, to Ralph's mind, means he's still relevant. Once that attention goes away, never to come back, I foresee Ralph truly descending into self-destructive mega-lolcowdom.

What if the big twist was that Jim died 3 years ago and the Metokur persona was KillAllPedos all along?
But then where does he get the audio clips? Unless he’s actually Jim’s brother or a doppelgänger who sounds exactly like him. But then how do you explain his wife? The dogs? The Halloween decorations? The swatting?
